Foraging Discussion
Added 2022-02-28 20:20:12 +0000 UTCPer a suggestion from a Patron I decided to add a Foraging Skill to the main Foraging mod. I'm starting to flesh out the main parts of it off-and-on between updates and wanted to know what kind of ideas you all had for skill progression. I likely won't get to finish it until later in March but I would like to start brainstorming ideas for right now.
So far I think I'm going to make it so you can find better and more rare items as you level up and I'll add some standard options to talk to other sims about foraging.

That's a neat idea! Let me take a look at it but it shouldn't be too difficult to do.

2022-03-15 08:49:39 +0000 UTCWould it be possible to turn the wood into say planks using the woodworking table? like 5 pieces of wood= 1 plank. I am still working out a game I want to play through and it occurred to me that if I could take the wood and make it into planks it would add another level of game play since I could say take 5 planks equals 1 section of wall.

2022-03-15 06:32:58 +0000 UTCMaybe the higher your skill is, and if you've got the levels in cooking or gardening to go with it, you could forage for specific things? Like forage for plant cuttings, forage for fruit, forage for tubers. Ability should be able to provide specificity.
