Love your reactions! And you are right about this being semi-autobiographical. I think that's what makes this show feel so different, because it's written by a gay man. So many bls are written by straight women. And while their work is appreciated, it just feels different having the story told by a queer man. The relationships aren't fairy tale style or super stereotypical (dom/sub, top/bottom etc.). It's also what I enjoy about your reactions. You always talk about some of your own experiences while watching these shows and I really appreciate hearing your perspective. To be honest, the ending of this show wasn't as strong as I wanted it to be. Not because he doesn't get back together with Gyo-hu. But because I wanted to see him grow more as a person. Moving was a good start but I would have liked if he had confessed to his friends that he's HIV positive. As you pointed out, it's a way bigger issue in his life than he pretends it is. Anyway, if you're open to suggestions, I just finished Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo and really enjoyed it. It is kdrama quality with really good acting. Keep up the good work!
