Side note, they were making dreamcatchers. They originated from Native American culture (specifically Anishinaabe culture) and you're supposed to hang them by or above your bed or an infants cradle. Traditionally, they're made with specific sacred feathers and beads and were used as protective magic to ward off harm and evil influences such as the evil eye. However, it has been taken by white people and have been popularized and weasternized to be mass produced and made from different, every day materials. The meaning behind them has been changed through the popularization of them and it's now widely believed that it's supposed to catch and filter out bad dreams specifically. Anyways, not trying to say this is good or bad and i'm not Native American so I can't really say anything anyways and you didn't ask but I thought i'd share some info on what they were making since you didn't know lol
