Yeah I've always found it impressive that Chan was able to maintain such a great English when he moved back to Korea at 13 ! It's been like 14 years and his English is still awesome. I live in Scotland and my French has gotten worse in 5 years, I used to write and speak it better when I was 17 😂

I do that as well, I pick up soooo many gestures and sounds and speaking habits from people, I can't even count how often I've subconsciously changed my laugh throughout the years bc I hear a person laugh often, and I like it, and brain be like "oh yeah that's ours now" lol. (Biggest joke is my accent when I speak English, it is now a mixture of British, Australian and the occasional American bc yeah it is what it is.) The "Felix see, Felix do" joke comes from that as well because Felix really mirrors extremely often during conversations. I personally think that he kind of understands the world and relates to it by imitating actions and words first, it's very lovable (and goes back to group behaviour from a long time ago where it was necessary to fit into a group to survive, so behavioural biology etc. Some poeple just do it more intensely than others. Actually, ADHD and autism often have it as a symptom because it IS easier for the brain to get access and file away an information and pattern if it's mirrored by ourselves)

But when I moved to Canada at 18 my two languages are fighting with each other lol when English gets improved my first language definitely worse dramatically! So I relate to Felix so much with the struggling bw two languages haha

But yeah with regards to Felix's English I can't tell if it's what you said about living in a different country or him being a crackhead. One of my fave clips is of Felix saying he's been eating alot of fruits like "yogurt and cucumbers etc" and him saying chicken has meat in it. Pls he's so funny 🤣🤣🤣
