Unfortunately we live in a world where in many cases you are "Guilty by accusation!". That's all it takes. The people in charge don't want to draw attention to the issue or take the time to dig out the details, especially when public opinion has already made up its mind and so they go along with it. Peoples lives have been ruined by this type of cowardice but it still goes on. "You have to keep the masses happy, right? No one cares if its true or not?"

I have meet people like that in the past. on sites like Tumblr they would harass people for a long time till they quit, then do everything in their power to get that content removed so they could upload it them selfs. Its happening a lot on Iwara right now. they target people who seem like they don't like what they are doing anymore and try to push them just that little bit more. Cause no one is going to stop them if the curator of the original content is gone. they want fame but aren't good enough to get it them self *cough* cellvore *cough*.
