I would like to try a more domineering MC at some point for sure. But the market leans toward relatable MCs so they tend to be quippy, well-meaning, treating their women as equals, etc. I don’t mind you sharing your opinion at all btw! You might like Star thrust as the MC is the captain of the ship all the women are on.

2025-12-24 00:29:37 +0000 UTChave you ever given thought to a actual male leader harem story where there is no equality in the relationship? where everyone has their role where they lead but not in the overall family aspect where the safety and overall responsibility is the male leads. also, i do think the avoidance of children isn't as appealing as it seems except to a small minority imo. I do know you have a few series with children but I think its a forced plot instead of an actual want by the mc without being coursed by the female leads for plot reasons. I am sorry, i am trying to keep these as short as possible and these are my opinions. from what I have read and listened to in harem lit-rpg genre, its that its all progressive and "gentle and VERY empathetic" Male MC's. I am writing my own but it will take a bit since i do proof reading and editing myself, but i would like to see your thoughts on these opinons.

2025-12-24 00:23:33 +0000 UTCWell to be totally frank, I'm in like only 5% of genre authors who DON'T use AI for cover art. The grand majority do. I still don't want to do that, but I will use AI for promotional material and kindling to keep my Patreon/SubStar fires burning.

2025-12-20 13:25:59 +0000 UTCAI doesn't really both me that much. I accepted it as an inevitability a good while ago. I see the whole song and dance about "no ai" as an old toon. Horse breeders and the automobile for example.
