Introducing "A Playdate To Remember" (AKA MHMR's new name)

That's right, MHMR is no longer MHMR. The story is still mainly the same and this time it will be finished, just not with a long-term deadline in mind. That's mainly why it's been in development hell, but no more.

Q&A Below...

Why did you change the name of "My House, My Rules?"

The name didn't match the story anymore, that's really it... no really. First it was gonna be a silly ABDL comedy where Daki pushes Rocky's boundaries and the two finally broke the ice. As I was making the comic first, I started to rewrite certain things because I wanted it to sound more like a romantic comedy, but soon the "My House, My Rules" part of the story started to not make much sense. I tried keeping it, but at the end, it wasn't working out. Rocky wasn't being forced into a diaper and babied against his will anymore.

The new name "A Playdate To Remember " sounds a bit cuter anyways and really lets you know what it is right away. It's a playdate, first date, ABDL themed ROM COM. The name was picked because it was clear what it was. Also Daki is big music Derg and the name was inspired by the name of a popular song by Shalamar. I'm sure you can find out which one it is, it's good song and everytime I listen to it I think of the two babs meeting for the first time. ^^

Is this still the same story?

Yes, mostly... It's been polished to sound better and flow more natural as best as it can. Still won't know if it's better until you read it.

Is this Patreon getting first dibs on the comic once it's done?

Of course! If it wasn't for you guys, I would be probably homeless. Also I do want comics and art related projects to be my full time job, so double yes. lol

Who are those other characters in that ref sheet?

Every character in the comic needs to have a ref, including small little cameo characters. Those other guys have small parts, some more important than others. Mr. Gibson plays a small role, he's always been planned for the comic, just never drew them before, they might get a redesign later. The devil characters I made recently make a cameo as characters in a movie/game just because we need characters for the made up shows/games/movie/whatever on the TV.

What's up with the 3D renders of the house?

That's Daki's new house! It's been fully re-re-re 3D modeled to help with drawing it in backgrounds and get perspective better. It's a little glitchy atm, but that's only because I'm barely learning how to 3D model again and I'm learning new things a long the way. Somethings need to be normalized, and that's really it. haha

Why the fuck is this comic taking you so long?

I've let my ADHD and perfectionism ruin any hype this used to have and I wish to recapture that excitement again from a lot of you. Like I said, there's no deadline when this is gonna come out. I do have goals, but they're now realistic. A lot of failure has come from trying to write the perfect story, but I'll never truly know until I actually tell it... so when will this come out, it'll come out when I'm done. That's all I'm gonna promise. :)

Why won't you just post the pages as there done?

Because I become lazy. If I post pages as they're done, I'll also give the impression there's a set date when these will be posted. I only wish to do this once I'm 100% done with the comic book so I can post them consistently weekly like Babystar and ABZ-comics does for their comics. Don't want to skip a beat.
