It’s time to vote for our tutorial video topic! Thanks to everyone who left suggestions and ideas, I loved reading through them all! 🥰 In my last post I asked you guys if I should make a list of your tutorial wishes and pick one for each month so each request can have a chance to be covered, and lots of you liked that idea!

SO.... Below is a collection of the most popular requests! And you guys get to pick which one I cover first 🥰 Don't worry if you don't see your suggestion here -- I've saved each one in my notes and some topics will be covered in step-by-step sheets and other videos :)

The topics:

• Designing a Book Couple: This will be an in-depth video showing how I design book characters (specifically a book couple) based on book descriptions! I’ll show you the process I’ve been using for all my book commissions 📚

• Dramatic Lighting: In this video I'll walk you through the process of painting a scene with stark, dramatic lighting! A bit trickier than subtle light, but so much fun 🔥

• Male Anatomy: An updated video on how to draw male anatomy! I'll show you both the minor and major details of drawing the male form from an anatomical perspective ♡

• Drawing with Storytelling: This video will be about how to add storytelling to your art! I'll show you the various ways you can incorporate story elements to help your characters feel more alive 📖

• Color Moods: This video will be about how to convey different moods in the same drawing with colors! We’ll cover moods like romantic, horror, happy and sad 🌈

• Painting a Cinematic Scene: In this video we’ll be drawing a movie scene together to study capturing a cinematic look! There will be a focus on dramatic lighting, color themes, composition, emotion, and more 🎥

• Character Interactions (Romance Edition): I made a video about character interactions a while back, but this video will cover a new set of interactions — focusing on romance! Kissing, hugging, and more 💘

• Simple Backgrounds: For this tutorial, I’ll show you some easy ways to create and improve simple backgrounds for your character drawings! ✨
