Hello September! 🌾✨ A little newsletter to you + what to expect this month! 💌

Hello everyone and happy first day of September!! 🌼✨

This month has always been one of my favorites because it means summer is coming to an end and fall is almost here 💛 The weather usually begins to change and get cooler where I live during this time and we get lots of cozy cloudy days, so I finally get to wear some sweaters! The seasons tend to influence my art and what I feel inspired to draw, so here’s a little mood board I made to show you guys some of the vibes I want to capture in my drawings this month:

During this season I love to draw the clothing and fashion styles that I see people wearing, and that means lots of comfy baggy clothes! ✨As always, the mood board is attached at the bottom of this post if you’d like to use it for inspiration 💌 I’ve been thinking of making a step-by-step tutorial this month focusing on tips and techniques when it comes to drawing baggy clothes (with all the folds and wrinkles!) so stay tuned 🥰 I made a clothing tutorial video a few months ago, but I love creating additional step-by-steps to help expand on different topics! ✏️
Each month I also like to open Notion and write down a list of drawing ideas to keep me inspired, and I’ll add to the list throughout the month whenever I think of a drawing concept! I thought I would show you what it looks like so here it is ☺️

I’ve already started working on one of these ideas and I’ll show it to you later today! 🥰✨ Feel free to use any of these ideas in your own work too! 🌼

In other news, I’ve already started filming for this month’s studio vlog and I actually filmed our trip when we travelled last month so I’ll be including that in the vlog too! ✨ There will be lots of drawing, chatting with you about art, going on little adventures, and more 🌲 Here’s a little sneak-peek from the vlog of our airbnb on the trip 🥰

I’m sooo excited to dive into a new month with you guys!! Last month was so fun and I can’t wait to get started on everything I’ve got planned for this month 🥰  Thank you all so much for being here and supporting my work on this journey, it means the world!
