Hereโs a little sneak-peek of my mermaid redraw! ๐ The original is from exactly 1 year ago, and itโs so interesting to see how much my style has changed in just a year! ๐ I used to have a much more painterly style, and now Iโve found that I really enjoy a sketchier drawing style with an emphasis on lines and pencil strokes ๐ Doing a redraw always makes me excited to see how my style will evolve in another year! What kind of art were you making a year ago? โจ

It's kind of like handwriting or a signature in that you can change it however you want but the key visual elements are telling, unique, and remain consistent throughout. I dunno! Just something I like about art in general. (also @cosmiccanary!)
