I had one of those sudden bursts of inspiration, and I had to share it with you. This idea came out of nowhere but the image was so clear that I dropped what I was doing and came up with this plan.
It is a latex dessert-themed burlesque look for an upcoming event (yes, the same show where my fairy-inspired look won a prize last time! 🧚♀️✨).
The concept is... Think Marie Antoinette meets burlesque, with a decadent “Let them eat cake” aesthetic. The centerpiece of this vision is strawberries and cream—romantic, sweet, and indulgent but I might change it to "cherry on top" depending on how the crafting part goes. 🍓🍦
What I’ll Be Creating
Strawberry/cherry headpiece: Handmade from silicone to look as realistic as possible.
Strawberry Purse: A cute and thematic accessory.
Styled Wig & Makeup: This will definitely be my most difficult wig project but I can't wait to tackle it.
Costume Details:
I’ll be incorporating lots of ruffles to add volume and to up the femininity and historical touch to the max.
To bring the look together, I’ll need a few costume pieces like a corset, matching panties, bustle belt, and possibly a collar and gloves.
