Video References: Test I Video I

We did our first video reference tests a few weeks ago! I've been holding off on releasing them as there were some issues with the clarity. However, they are 60 FPS and still work as references...so I didn't want to hold them hostage. haha

The full-resolution video is linked below!

We took both horizontal and vertical videos, using different props, at different angles, etc. I'll be releasing the initial videos one at a time to make it easier to gather feedback.

However, all videos will be archived for easy download access by Patreon subscribers. They are

If you have any suggestions for improving our video references, let us know! Note that the lighting and noise issues WILL be fixed during the second test shoot.

This has been suggested before, even in photo references. And I think it'd make even more sense in video, so we'll do it 100% in our next shoot! Thanks so much for the feedback. It's incredibly helpful!

Think it's looking rather good! Really glad the transitions aren't cut out either! And this suggestion would likely be a pain (and the latter ones probably way too expensive), so no pressure on it. But, one thing that comes to mind is that regardless of lighting it's likely going to be hard to see form shifts and foreshortening. So might be worthwhile to add reference points? Potential methods/combinations to do that: Body safe marker and putting fairly thick dots on key points (e.g. top middle of forearm, underside of wrist joint, etc). Simple thin black arm and legs bands (lower and upper of both). Thicker (like an inch or so) armbands, but in white material and with one horizontal line and equally spaced vertical lines (ideally alternating colors). Contour lined body stockings (there's another reference provider who did this and it seemed useful, though also very hot). Checkerboard motion capture suit (just the skinsuit).

Really excellent. And the noise/lighting problem is not too noticeable. It's very usefull when we need a little variation of a pose. ^_^
