We finished JJK right before we started Naruto and Frieren. AOT is off the table for now since Mski has seen it before. MHA is definitely on the agenda.

Previously Graf Granat was explaining that some people with strong wills could fight the power of the scales and it shows a soldier with the same necklace, so yes, probably his son. It also makes more sense as to why Graf Granat is so thankful to Frieren. Also great catch about Heiter teaching Fern to suppress her mana because he knew Frieren did it. Fern has been suppressing her mana since she was a little girl. Btw, Kraft is a monk, not a priest. Priests can do a bit of magic (you'll learn more in future episodes), monks seem to just be martial artists with a deep spiritual connection. Now, regarding Frieren being Himmel's apprentice, I'm glad you've caught on so early. Flamme taught Frieren to be a mage, but Himmel taught Frieren (and basically everyone else) to be a hero. This journey now is partly to see Himmel in Heaven but also to let Frieren reflect on what she experienced by retracing their 10 year journey, it is IMO a new journey of her becoming like Himmel. Next episode is one of my favorites, that is all I'll say for now...
