Okay, okay, I swear it's the last one I'm posting for a while. I was just sorta proud of some details on this piece.
Forget about the face, it is ugly as sin, and I apologize for doing my girl Yumi dirty like that.
But otherwise, I'm quite proud of the shading job on the muscles, especially the abs, they came out really well. I've been watching tutorial videos about Clip Paint Studio and I wanted to apply some of what I learned already. I think specific parts of this drawing are surprisingly well done for a novice such as myself.
I need to start practicing specific details, such as eyes and hair (which I absolutely gave up on shading properly on this piece, you might have noticed), and explore more of the tools available to me on the Clip Paint marketplace.
Are there any artists subscribed to this tier who would have some suggestions of good tools (brushes, materials, etc) for me? If you are comfortable sharing, please feel free to DM me with some pointers.
I figure my next step is to keep drawing and perhaps buy some art that comes with the original files so I can study their workflow. Because that's a huge part of drawing on software : the order in which you do things is very important.
All in all, I am very motivated to keep drawing, as I see very clear results on each new piece I am working on.
