Weekly Update - Secrets, secrets, secrets

Seeing this new wave of Blue Archive's Akemi illustrations in bunny suit got me thinking about Hannah a lot. Should I make a new game starring Hannah? Like, just focused on her?

The latest poll results were tight the first couple of days, but it seems now that you guys communicated mostly two things : You want me to stick with the regular schedule and publish a new The Bodyguard Girl 2  build this month, and failing this, I am allowed to publish two builds of the games in September to make up for it. I am grateful for your understanding, too, by the way.

In other news, I have been in contact with a new artist for a THIRD game, but this time, it's not to add more work on my plate...it's for my usual secret October game. I have no idea if you guys are loving the concept of me releasing a short, complete experience every October, but it's some sort of random tradition I'm trying to uphold against all odds.

I have this year's secret game pretty much all planned out, and I think you'll find it interesting. It stars a new character I'm currently designing with the help of the artist, who shall remain nameless for the time being. I'll give away more news here and there in the coming weeks, just to tease you a bit.

I talk about it now because, in the absence of new art for The Bodyguard Girl 2, I've been putting my time on this secret project, setting up the bases (designing the UI, creating the game logo) to save myself some time for later.

And that's it. I've been putting more and more thoughts about my actual day job, and how to change careers while maintaining the Peach Punch studio. I'm starting to have a clearer picture of what I want and how to get it. Basically, the more time passes, the more focused my mind is on the matter. I'm doing this adult thing the proper way. Please praise me, haha.

We are experiencing the effects of the Debbie tropical storm here, with severe rainfall that will result in unavoidable flooding in my city. Do not worry for me, however. It wasn't planned on my part, but it just so happens my house is located on an elevated plateau neighborhood, so I will avoid the worse consequences of this storm. Thank the Goddess for that. Now I just have to wait for the storm to pass.
