The smile on her lips makes the entire embarrassment worth it, as security escorts you out of the premises for being too troublesome.

Build 1.1.1 of Hypnotized By My Assassin is here. I've FINALLY figured out a key piece of knowledge about Visual Novel Maker that I wish I knew from the start : any scene with two or more player choices will invariably see the second, third and subsequent choices bug out if you save and load in an attempt to try every different choice option.

Which means that many scenes in the game can NOT be abused with the save / load functions without making the game crash.

In order to fix that issue that is caused by VNM itself, all I can figure out to do is to divide each scene where there is more than one choice into two smaller scenes, thus creating some jarring cuts in the narrative.

So that's what I did. Now scenes are divided into smaller chunks, ending and starting out of nowhere. I apologize in advance, but that's how it is. I cannot wait to get rid of working with this thing, I swear.

So yeah, this is it. Release candidate build 1.1.1 can be downloaded by clicking here. Pretty much nothing else has changed.

And if you still want to make the game crash (you psychos!), you can! Just follow these steps :

From the beginning of the game, choose one of the three destinations, talk to the girl you meet there, and when you are asked to choose a second destination, save, choose one of the options, reload the save and choose the same option again. Ta-dah! One crashed game!

Jokes aside, I hope you enjoy this more stable version of the game. And I hope this is the last time I have to work on it. I just want to release it and go work on other stuff, please.
