Weekly Update - Tax Season & Winter's Counterattack

This week was a bit insane. In what little time I was given outside of my day job working me to the bone, I had to deal with taxes for the studio, and at least one day was spent without power at the house, since winter decided to give us one last, absolutely insane snowstorm. Heavy, wet snow made the trees bend under their added weight and power outages were recorded all over the place. Myself, I have a few cedar trees that I will most likely have to cut down because they have been damaged too much. As if I needed more yard work this spring. Ugh.

I know, I know. Excuses again, I suppose. But bottom line, I still have nothing much to show this week. Still, the news are as follows :

I received the background for the Silver's Gym for Don't Flex On Me Yumi-Chan! and it's looking pretty great. The artist significantly simplified it (the AI stand-in art was way too busy to work as a good background anyway) and made it blend in with the rest of the art in a nice way. Most of you won't even notice the chance or give it a second thought, and somehow I would argue that this was the result I was hoping to achieve. I'm very satisfied with it.

Early next week, I should receive news from artist Chayon about the new girl for the Yumi-Chan game. They are currently working on a design for her alternate costume (which is gym apparel). I still haven't introduced you to her, because I've been trying to prepare the best way to introduce her to you all. You probably would like to see her as soon as possible, but I am unsure a random post on this site is the best way to meet her. We'll see, perhaps my enthusiasm will get the best of me and I'll show you sooner rather than later. Wouldn't be the first time it happened.

The poll for The Bodyguard Girl 2 has been at a standstill for a few days, but now a victor has emerged. The margin is slim, but the single-handed throat lift is winning the poll for the next CG scene starring Vivian vs The Captain.

I know some of you were really hoping for a sleeper hold, but I was thinking about a form of compromise, and perhaps have a CG of a sleeper hold as an introduction to the new girl in Yumi-Chan. Would that work, for the time being?

And that's it. I know it's not the sort of weekly update you like, you'd prefer more exciting and concrete news, but that's all I have for you this time.

That said, spring is definitely here to stay. Winter has been vanquished and the sunny days are upon us. Go out and enjoy the fair weather with friends and family, I'll try to do the same before coming back in the office refreshed and ready to work hard on some new material for you guys!
