Vivian's New Groove - Vote Poll
Added 2023-08-16 16:00:50 +0000 UTCAfter much thinking, and a lot of hesitation & confusion, I turn to you guys and gals to vote on which look you would prefer for Vivian in her upcoming re-re-reboot of the sequel to The Bodyguard Girl.
Here is the work of two artists whose work I admire. I scouted them because I loved how they drew muscles and breasts, whilst having two different art styles.
Option 001 is darker, more stylized, taking more liberties with body measurements.
Option 002 is colorful, more anime with clean lines and clear muscle definition.
I think both managed to capture the evil in Vivian's eyes, which makes me very happy, and adds to the difficulty in choosing which one I prefer.
For this poll, contrary to my usual, I disabled the ability to place multiple votes. You gotta commit to one choice only.
I won't reveal the artists' names, and I won't tolerate any bad mouthing in the comments. I feel this is a delicate situation, and both artists deserve our respect, if only for making such great versions of our beloved girl. If you must comment, focus on what you particularly enjoy with each style, so that I might emphasize it with future commissions.

Oftentimes exaggerated details are welcome because they help to sell some specific ideas. For example, on a basic level, the muscle definition; nobody can keep perfect abs definition at all hours of the day and in every position, but I want them to be visible at all times in every illustration to remind the viewer of Vivian's physical strength. Hope that makes sense. Bottom line is, I think you make a good point.

2023-08-16 17:28:25 +0000 UTCI don't know if it explains anything, but the large bust also contributes to the small head perception, although some artists do stylistically keep the head a slightly smaller size to emphasize the rest of the body.

2023-08-16 17:22:15 +0000 UTCI like them both but I do feel option 1 does more "heavy lifting" in visually depicting Viv's strength. Of course, option 2 would still work, but I would need some additional story crafting to fully suspend my disbelief as to why this woman is so strong.

2023-08-16 16:56:22 +0000 UTCI have a favourit, but one thing I really dislike with both designs is the tiny heads. They both remind me of those fake Insta pictures where men want to make their body look bigger and forget to resize the head as well.
