Weekly Update - Exclusive - Character Design Poll Results (So Far)

Hey, everybody! Here is an EXCLUSIVE weekly update, for subscribers only.

So, while it isn't a lot, we've reached 69 answers (nice) to the Character Design Poll I've posted earlier last week. And I think that already there is a trend emerging, where the results are all kind of 'middle-of-the-road', where the most popular options are the average ones.

Which has led me to start designing the childhood friend character in advance. I have found an amazing artist, with a more conventional yet professional anime style, for the project. I've already received a first version of the childhood friend character, and she is looking absolutely stunning. 

Let's be honest here, I just indulged and asked the artist to draw my secret ideal gym rat goth girlfriend, and I am very, very pleased with the results. 

I feel like the Childhood Friend game has potential mass appeal, so I cannot afford to mess it up, and I intend to pull all the stops to make it as good as I can. I'm even planning to switch to Ren'Py to make it, which means it won't have minigames and stuff, it's just going to be a wholesome episodic-style visual novel. But there is still a lot of work to do, especially in creating a fully-fleshed out cast of characters, so pre-production might take a lot of time, hence why I am starting so early, this time.

I don't think I'm spreading myself too thin working on three projects at the same time (Bunny Girls, Bodyguard 2 and Childhood Friend), since they are all in different stages of production, and some, like Childhood Friend, only need a minimal amount of attention (it's all just character design, which in my case means a lots of AI art iterations until I find something I am satisfied with).

Speaking of other projects, I am waiting until I have some new material to show before re-releasing The Bodyguard Girl 2 with the new art. Which means, I am currently commissioning the art for the Overhead Hanging Headscissors scene that is already in the game, and I'll wait until I have extra art for a new CG scene before showing it to you guys. What will that new scene be? Well...how does showing some admiration to Vivian's body sound? Let's keep it at that and not spoil it too much...

Finally, I will most probably release a new build of Bunny Girls tomorrow. Following some health issues with family this month (don't worry, everything is turning out fine for my family after all), I did not have as much time as I hoped I would have and my plans to deliver two new H-scenes could not be realized. But, I do have the one new H-scene with Jazmine, so please look forward to this!
