今後の方針いろいろ

夏コミへの参加、ゼノブレ同人の翻訳など一段落つき、そろそろ今後の方針について公表しておこうかと思います。

次の新作まで少し間が空いてしまうので、今後どのようにアップデートしていくか共有するのが良いと思った次第です。

DUAL DESIRES 贖罪 後編について：

次回作のDUAL DESIRESですが、後編は無料公開を考えています。

目的としましては、認知度を上げるところにあります。まず知ってもらわないとといいう部分が課題です。

無料公開することによって、いいねやブックマークなど増えますとある程度おすすめに表示されやすくなると思います。また、なんとなくスルーしていた方などにも少し興味を持ってもらえたらなというところもあります。

ただ、果たしてこれが有効なのか正直分かりません。このような戦略を取って認知度を上げた方がいるようなので、何かのきっかけになればなという考えです。

DUAL DESIRESのアップデート時期や発売時期について：

現状複数のプロジェクトを進めていますので、来年になることは確定です。11月以降は比較的にフリーですが、冬コミに向けてNIKKEの同人誌を描こうと思い立ちました。

あまりたくさんのページは描けないとは思いますが、二次創作をきっかけにもう少し自分を知ってもらおうという狙いです。また、面白そうなストーリーのアイディアも浮かびましたので、せっかくなら漫画にしたいなといったところです。

今後のプラン方針について：

無料公開することから、DUAL DESIRES 贖罪の後編については、灯火プランで出来上がったページから先行公開しようと思っています。こちらの先行公開は漫画が完成するまでの間３～５ページ単位で順次公開するつもりです。そして、完成したときに最後にPixiv等で全ページ無料公開といった流れです。

この場合、DL同人サイトに公開する分については有料での販売をしますが、おまけページを少し入れようかと思っています。やはり皆様からお金を支払っていただく部分ですので、無料のものをそのまま有料にするわけには行かないです。

ちなみに、後編だけですとストーリー的に各キャラがどうしてそこにいるのかなど分からないので、後編で興味を持っていただいた方に前編も買ってもらおうという考えもあります。さすがに過去作まで含めて無料にはできませんが、過去作を知ってもらうきっかけとしての役割も後編に持たせられたらなと思っています。

DUAL DESIRESシリーズの贖罪以降の新作について：

DL同人販売サイトで販売するおまけページに後日談を入れようかと思っているのですが、幸運なことに色々なアイディアが思い浮かんできました！

主人公は変わるかもしれませんが、同じ世界で続きのストーリーが描けるかもしれません。ただ、今後の人気も考慮して描くかどうか判断したいと思います。

リクエスト募集再開予定：

大変ありがたいことに、Skebでのリクエスト募集再開待ちが60人以上いるようです。

今回NIKKEの二次創作で冬コミに出ようと思っていますが、それまでは忙しいので、同人の作業が終わり次第リクエストの募集を再会しようかと思っています。

漫画リクエストについて複数の方から質問をいただいていています。長い漫画は無理ですが、4ページ程度であれば描けると思います。金額は多少高くなりますが、ストーリーなどこちらが考えたりとなるとイラスト以上にハードルが高くなるので、なるべく詳細にリクエスト文にストーリーや入れたいコマなど記載していただけるとありがたいです。

また、値段についても、なるべく漫画1ページ＝イラスト1枚（8000円の予定）と同じ値段で設定させていただきます。Skebの上限金額が私の場合はたしか3万円までとなりますので（募集再開したときに確認しないとですが）、ページ数に対する金額的に世間の漫画原稿料に近いとは思いますので、そのように募集したいと思います。

※漫画は時間がかかってしまうので、リクエストは一月に一人か二人程度までにしたいと思います。もし私の方からキャンセルした場合は、人数上限と認識していただければと思いますので、翌月に再度応募してください。

ちなみに、イラストのリクエストで、内容的にもう少し安くしてもいいかなと思う部分があれば、下げてリクエストいただいても大丈夫です。例えばアイコン用のバストアップ画像のリクエストなど、体の半分くらいしか描かなくてもいいものなど、その分提示金額から引いていただいて構いません。具体的な値段はこちらからは提示できませんので、各々で判断いただければと思います。

Now that I've finished my participation in Summer Comiket and translating Xenoblade doujin, I thought it was time to announce my future plans.

Since there's still a little time until my next new release, I thought it would be a good idea to share my plans.

About DUAL DESIRES Redemption Part 2:

For the next release, DUAL DESIRES, I'm planning to release the second part for free.

The goal is to raise awareness. Getting people to know about it first is a challenge.

By releasing it for free, I think the number of likes and bookmarks will increase, making it more likely to appear in recommendations. I also hope that it will spark interest among people who might have been ignoring it.

However, I honestly don't know if this will be effective. It seems that some people have used this strategy to increase their profile, so I hope this will serve as a catalyst for something.

Update and release dates for DUAL DESIRES:

I'm currently working on multiple projects, so it's definitely going to be next year. I'll be relatively free from November onwards, but I decided to draw a doujin of NIKKE in preparation for the winter Comiket.

I don't think I'll be able to draw many pages, but my aim is to use derivative works as a way to get people to know me a little better. I've also come up with an interesting story idea, so I thought I might as well turn it into a manga.

Future plans:

Since it will be released for free, I'm planning to pre-release the second part of DUAL DESIRES Redemption, starting with the pages completed with the GLIM Plan. I plan to release these pre-release pages in 3-5-page increments until the manga is complete. Then, once it's finished, I'll finally release all the pages for free on sites like Pixiv.

In this case, the portion released on downloadable doujinshi sites will be sold for a fee, but I'm thinking of including a few bonus pages. After all, this is a part that I will be relying on fans to pay for, so I can't just turn something that's free into a paid service.

By the way, if I only released the second part, it wouldn't be clear why each character is there story-wise, so I'm thinking of having people who become interested in the second part buy the first part as well. Of course, I can't make the previous works free, but I hope that the second part will serve as a catalyst for people to learn about the previous works.

New work in the DUAL DESIRES series after Redemption:

I was thinking of including a sequel in the bonus pages for sale on the downloadable doujin sales site, and luckily, a lot of ideas have come to mind!

The main character may change, but I might be able to draw a continuation of the story in the same world. However, I will consider future popularity when deciding whether to draw it.

Plans of reopening commissions:

Thankfully, there are over 60 people waiting on Skeb to resume accepting requests.

I'm planning to appear at the winter Comiket with a NIKKE fan work, but I'm busy until then, so I'm thinking of resuming accepting requests once I've finished my doujin work.

I've received several questions about manga requests. I can't do long manga, but I think I can draw about four pages. The price will be a little higher, but since I have to come up with the story, it's a higher hurdle than illustrations, so I would appreciate it if you could describe the story and the frames you'd like to include in your request in as much detail as possible.

Also, I'll try to set the price at the same rate as 1 page of manga = 1 illustration (estimated at 8,000 yen). I believe Skeb's maximum request amount is 30,000 yen (I'll have to check when I reopen the request), so I think the price per page is close to the average manga manuscript fee, so I'd like to accept requests around that amount.

*Manga takes time, so I'll limit requests to one or two per month. If I cancel, please consider that this is the limit, so please apply again the following month.

Incidentally, if you feel the content of your illustration request could be lowered, feel free to request it at a lower price. For example, if you're requesting a bust-up image for an icon, or something that only requires drawing half of the body, you can deduct that amount from the suggested price. I can't provide specific prices, so I'll leave it to each individual to decide.

In the end...:

It looks like I'll be busy for a while, but your continued support would be a great encouragement.
