The only characters I can still color are Milk and Cheese. But I can't color a decent background setting. I did a marker purge this afternoon, and Winky played taps for these fine soldiers who served so well. This auction will go toward the new marker haul.
In the meantime, I have a lot of penciling and inking to concentrate on. So, I should concentrate on that.

I use AD Chartpak markers. I just placed an order at MisterArt.com and it ran about $225 for around 45 markers. That's with me spending $25 to join the site club which saved me about $40 so it was worth it. Markers (and art supplies in general) are expensive and will probably only get more expensive. I suggest buying a maker or two from different brands to see what works best for you. There's probbaly deals on a basic set for each brand, or folks selling sets on eBay.

2025-10-01 12:12:07 +0000 UTCNo, I appreciate it. I know some art supplies have some toxicity to them (I used to use Dr. martin's dyes, those turned out to be very probelmatic. I'm going to stick with them out of laziness and the fact that they don't spread or smudge black ink. I should look into it. Thx.

AD markers have xylene in them and xylene is kinda toxic, which is why there arent many manufacturers of xylene markers nowadays (and alcohol markers like ohuhu have the same look without the smell and poison) (sorry if this comes across as weird or rude, just looking out for u! ^_^;)
