update on tiers

i've been looking around at what the average price is for patreon tiers and ive found that 3$ is the most common first tier for a lot of artists. i know 3$ is more than 1$ but i think in return i'll show more full body WIPs instead of cropping them sometimes. I post a ton of art in the 1$ tier anyhow. with WIPs, free sketches, requests that you guys get to send me, voting on what i draw, and a lot of control of my paid content i think the payback is pretty fair. but i completely understand if some people wont be able to afford the tier for any reason. corona and life in general has hit everyone really hard, me as well, and since i dont have a large audience or anything i want to try this out and see how it goes.

feel free to leave me feedback though. if 3$ is too expensive or too cheap or if i should change my tiers around or change any pricing. maybe even going per update instead of monthly? i even thought about getting rid of my 15$ tier one day if i could ever afford it and having all patrons suggest content. I dont really get to talk about this kind of stuff anywhere else so im open to hearing everyones opinion on this. im sorry for the trouble though. but thank you for the support and feedback regardless

$3 is fine but if you push all your art to $5, I don't think I can afford it. I live in Ukraine and a dollar is worth a lot here.

I think the 3$ tier is really fair! With the 1$ tier there definitely isn’t enough return for you.

thats an option. i know some artists use a 1$ tier as a tip jar. i could keep the option for voting and sending requests when i open for them and push all art to the 5$ tier instead. but youre right 3$ and 5$ are really close. i think ill consider this option

Have you thought of reducing the amount of content you make avaialble on $1 tier and pushing people who can afford it towards $5 instead? I think if someone can give $3 they can probably give $5 but keeping a $1 with some stuff is nice for those with limited budgets or that even don't check Patreon but like your art on Twitter and want to pay a bit etc.
