The Kaveh’s world.

a. Mermaids live in packs, all members of the pack, both young and old, are engaged in raising offspring. To avoid being detected, they migrate from place to place. The pack can stay in one place for about six months to raise offspring and teach cubs the basics of survival.

b. Mermaids are predators, if they hunt with the whole pack, they can catch very large prey. Sailors have been victims of mermaids more than once, although in recent years people have learned to fight them, so mermaids are less likely to attack large ships, preferring to be content with single sailors.

c. Hunting for mermaids is not just a way to get food, but also a ritual in which they show their strength and ability to manipulate. Each successful hunting act strengthens their bonds within the pack and confirms their place in the food chain.

d. Mermaids, by their nature, learn and adapt quickly. This helps them survive, so it is not difficult for them to learn human speech.

e. Finding and luring prey is a way of survival that Kaveh's family taught him. Manipulation is a necessary skill for survival, but he enjoys it when the prey gets caught in his "net".

Kaveh's Worldview

The concept of cruelty: The concept of cruelty: For Kaveh, the concept of cruelty differs from that of humans. Tearing apart prey or another predator is not considered cruelty, but purposely inflicting pain through slow killing is unacceptable to Kaveh. He deals with his prey swiftly, without wasting time on unnecessary games. Some of his relatives do not understand this. Mermaids are perfectly capable of playing with their prey before killing it.

Natural harmony: Kaveh considers himself part of nature and sees his role as maintaining natural balance. Killing people is just a part of the natural cycle for him, like hunting for any predator.

Curiosity about the human world: Kaveh has an interest in the world he lives in, including people. Other mermaids see humans only as food, but Kaveh is also attracted to other things. He watches people, studies their behavior, and dreams of understanding their nature. He is truly fascinated with the massive structures that people create and change the world around them. Despite their physical weakness compared to other creatures, he admires their ability to do so.

Danger of people: At the same time, Kaveh always remembers the danger that people can carry with them. He knows they can be cruel and ruthless, especially towards creatures like mermaids. Therefore, despite his curiosity, he always stays on guard and tries to avoid unnecessary contact with people in order not to put himself or his family at risk.

Relationships with other mermaids: Kaveh was always quiet and withdrawn from the pack, but his intuitive abilities made him a valuable member. He did not seek leadership, but he was respected for his ability and intelligence.

Conflicts: Some relatives did not understand his interest in people and his gentleness towards them. These differences sometimes led to conflicts, but Kaveh always tried to avoid open confrontation by using his cunning and manipulative skills.

Relationships

1. Family and pack: For Kaveh, the family and pack are the basis of his existence. He feels responsible for their survival and well-being, which motivates him to hunt and develop his skills.

2. People: For Kaveh, people are a source of food and objects of manipulation. He sees them as prey and at the same time as interesting creatures that he wants to explore. His curiosity about the human world pushes him to study their behavior and psychology, which allows him to become a more effective manipulator.

3. Alhaitham: Interaction with Alhaitham has become a new challenge for Kaveh. This man was not a simple victim, and his meeting with Alhaitham left a deep mark on his life.

Life history and development

1. Early years: Kaveh learned to hunt and manipulate from childhood, under the guidance of senior members of the pack, quickly mastering the art of luring prey. This made him one of the most valuable members of the pack.

2. Growing up: As Kaveh grew older, he began to show more interest in the human world. He began experimenting with new methods of manipulation and hunting, which led to a deeper study of humans.

3. Adulthood: In adulthood, Kaveh became not only a hunter but also a defender of his pack. His intuition and insight helped him anticipate dangers and find safe places for the pack.
    a) his curiosity about the human world increased, and he began to take risky forays to study people more closely. These outings allowed him to better understand human nature and its weaknesses.

Internal conflict

- Curiosity vs. Essence: The world has always been clear to Kaveh. A pack is the most important thing in life, reproduction is the reason for existence, and people are prey. Kaveh lived with these beliefs all his life, although he wondered if the world could be so simple. People seem simple to the point of outrage until AAlhaitham bursts into his familiar and predictable life.

- Curiosity vs. Responsibility: Kaveh is torn between his curiosity about the human world and his responsibility to the pack. He understands that his actions may put the pack at risk, but he cannot deny the desire to learn more about people.

- Inner Search: Despite his nature and goals, Kaveh also seeks meaning in his life. His interest in the human world and his desire to understand their behavior and psychology reflect his desire to find something more meaningful than his usual existence.

The combination of these complex characters will create a lot of tension. I can't wait to see new material, because the mermaid arc was the reason why I support you on Patreon. Of course, I've grown fond of your other projects and if the story about the mermaid and co ends, I'll stay.

Yiling-Patriarchin

most likely yes, but unfortunately he doesnэt swim to land practically

His curiosity towards humans, and admiration for the way they build things and change nature... I wonder if he would have the passion for architeture even being a mermaid 🥺
