Patreon updates should be a primary focus of Helius then, or pass it on to community manager on the team. If thats not already a Helius job duty, it should have been. Not really an optional member on a project this big. I find it ridiculous the excuses on why its okay to neglect patreon updates because of Discord.

Because it's only Helius who can log into Patreon. Patreon as a way to convey information is awful because the other Devs can't post here and there's no fast Input-Output. Discord on the other hand is super easy to talk with each other and each of the single devs can talk and post. Plus, People on Discord are the people on Patreon. It's not like we get to be on the Discord for Free.

Yes, if you have enough for CBT, no need to keep paying. 2-3 months before VR version will be playable. 6+ months before Galatea will be available. 6+ months before you can access your rewards. I'm just sick of all the lies and deceit from this developer, and equally as sick as the patrons that just shower him with praise and loyalty no matter how bad he treats them. Even those that have supported him for ages and paid lots of cash, will have to race to beat the new patrons to get a CBT key on launch day. Don't worry if you miss out on a CBT key though, you can still play the game when it launches in 7 months (pending no further delays)

They don't even have a store page up which is required to submit games to Steam (look at Steam developer guidelines) so I don't even think they've really submitted anything to Steam yet. I've moved on. This game is a bust and a waste of my $$$.

I think they keep it vague on purpose. If they make another deadline they can’t meet it won’t look too good. Smart on their end for not giving an exact ETA but not so good for us who are just waiting for something playable to drop already lol.

Y'all need to keep track of labeling your image files, you have too many duplicates of Eliz.png, so I've had to relabel them, for example, instead of a duplicate like Eliz (2) I label it Eliz 3 or 4 or whatever, but it wouldn't hurt to label your image files with more effort and keep track of which ones need a bit more detail in the label(s)!

I was so mad after the lies and lack of updates, I cancelled my subscription. I'm back, paying the bare minimum, because I'm still very interested in this game and don't want to miss out on the next demo/build. PLEASE, just release a playable version A.S.A.P to all those people that have been supporting you all year and got nothing out of it so far, except lies and broken promises. You must be raking in a tonne of money. What's your Patreon income? $100,000 a month at least? Many of us are looking forward to the full-release, but we would shut up with our complaints if you started releasing playable builds again. The last update was pretty minor, just a few new scenes. Your last major (public) update was a full year ago! That's an insult to all your supporters. What about Galatea? She's your only new model and significant addition over the past year, and not a single supporter has got to see a playable build with her yet. All we see is updates about how much time you and your team are wasting on useless crap you want to add into the game. All this backstory crap, I think is going to be a big waste of time for most customers. This is not going to be a fully playable first-person adventure game. It's going to be a sex simulator, with different pre-programmed scenes/animations, where we just click a few buttons to load the next scene, etc. You said previously, it's going to be a 'deck-building' game. What's the re-playability of this game? Very low, I imagine. People will just want to jump in and load up the sexy scenes. So stop wasting your time, and our time, on all these boring back-stories and focus on the core aspect of this simulator. We should have different voice actors for each model. We should be able to customize the body of each model (hips, breasts, height, hair styles, etc). Fallen Doll was better than Lovecraft in this way. You took away some of the good things of that game. Oh, and stop wasting time with Steam. I will be gobsmacked if Steam let you put Galatea on their platform. It would be the end of Steam itself if they did it. The media would destroy them. You should instead be focusing on making the game more like Fallen Doll, with more customization and modding compatibility. THAT would sell like hot-cakes. Also, the multiplayer aspect should be the last thing on the list you work on. I think more people are worried about it, then excited by it.

ppl not actively using discord and keeping up to date are pretty much ignored by the devs. They barely reply to anything on patreon and the in game announcements arent updated either... :(

I think they cant do that, due to Steam rules. Even other games that used to have petite characters (eg Seed of the dead) had to give them quite a substantial boobjob (eg Seed of the dead 2, same chara now stacked af)

I agree with this guy to an extent. Look at minecraft, its one of the best games of all time by any metric. But they release playable updates at least once a month. They don't give a shit if its buggy, they let the players know that they are experimental snapshots or that they are half complete updates. But all the users remain super supportive and dedicated because its so transparent and no one feels ripped off. You think people would keep their realms subscriptions if that stopped and they got no update for a year? I highly doubt it. I want a good product just like you do, but these comments are evidence of the creators being totally cool with not giving a shit about the demands and desires of their fans. any small update in anything playable would be enough to alleviate most of it. this isn't a good sign. I completely agree, the last update for this game was in January, that along with the fact that we are almost 2 weeks into September and still haven't gotten the promised pack, all this is starting to seem like a massive scam. No wonder people are debating removing their pledge.

I agree with what everyone is saying. If you’re not going to release any content, then at least show us what you have been working on. A lot of supporters are not going to keep pledging if there is nothing but half cocked images in the posts. Show us in game content, not this half fledged out models crap.

A lot of us realize the beta is unrealistic at this point which is why we want an updated demo instead. The suggestion for a new demo was shot down in May because they projected that the beta would be out by June. Since that hasn’t been the case a new demo would have been a very good move. They could try and say that the beta is set to be released in the next month or 2 so a new demo would be pointless but we’ve heard that once before already lol.

tbh ppls who beg for betas ect and want to force the creator to release something soon arent in the rights to do so, you never done such a project and alot of you guys had given up already. so pay more respect to the creator for what they doing, even if it means to not get anything to play for a long time. project H isnt like EA or Activision with 1000+ ppls working on games. normaly such a game they creating would take around 1 more year after alpha state. not mention the bug fixing, testing stuff, adding stuff, scripting, editing, writting senseful text for npcs, character handling, weapon handling, race physic, bounce physic, char physic, weapon physic including bullet drop and alot more stuff to fight with during the alpha to beta state. beta stays for close ready to play, meaning the game is close fully finished and ready for the release(aka server stresstest). so hold your seat and enjoy the pics they give us to enjoy and see the progress they made in 1 year.

Well it's cool to show new models but i think people would like to see some gameplay. Personally i'm more interrested by the campaign you promise but if you want your patrons to be happy i feel like you will need to show more. They need to be reassured that you are doing some progress.
