There has been a glitch with first person mode, where the mouth and eyes are still loaded but the head is gone like it should be. I tried redownloading it from different links but nothing seems to work. Is it a problem on my part or is it just a bug with the latest game build?

I will continue to support you, but steam's fail information that stuff like that is forbidden in germany, wich it isnt in the slightest, prohibits the buying or even looking on the shoppage of games like this one here. Same here, Vive Cosmos stuck at starting screen, I'm guess they did something and it made the Vive controller key press unrecognizable in game. Maybe just add an additional key to break starting screen would solve this issue. Mine stopped working ever since 0.30.

Noticed a few bugs in the VR version. Some of these issues probably aren't specific to VR. * Unable to remove 2 items from the new costume. * In the one lab where Anya's new Ghast scene is, there is some mechanical arm that extends outwards. When it does this the static version is still visible, just looks like the animated version is merging in and out of it. * In the new Anya Elder Thing scene, the tentacle disappears from my right lens unless I have the majority of the tentacle in my view. * Noticed in some older scenes that Anya's sounds during cumming seem to be delayed * The volume option for sex sounds isn't in English even with the English language selected And not really a bug but VR performance is terrible, I have to play on Low quality with SS 0.5, the shimmering is bad. Fallen Doll looks better for me just because of the lack of shimmering.

I don't want to bash you but I also have to voice my concerns about the the SFW campaign. I support this for the NSFW content but I was ok with it having different core gameplay but if I have to unlock scenes in a campaign that is pretty loosely connected to the NSFW content, the core game will just be a nuisance. Since we didn't see any gameplay of the campaign yet, I have no confidence that you could make a game that is better than the games that yours is inspired by.

Forgive my ignorance but why can't this be released on another store? Or why can''t you give out keys like you do now? I have absolutely zero interest in a multiplayer mode. I want everything to be available via a single player only game. Having all this content requiring an internet connection is a deal breaker for me. I don't understand why you can't just create a patreon tier for the one time purchase of the game once it is released or even use Gumroad. If Steam is going to gimp the game, you should seriously look at other possibilities. Seems like doing all this on the off chance is appeases steam (which is won't) is increasing the complexity exponentially. This is going to lead to more bugs, delays, and features being cut. Just to add on, why can't you release via dlsite then release a decensor patch?

I've been a supporter for a few months and I've been very impressed with the technical quality of this game. This is probably one of the best (if not the best) looking game of this genre ever. I'm also very excited to see the release of the campaign mode. It's a shame that it won't have NSFW content out of the box, but I understand the need to comply with Steam's regulations. That said, maybe there is a way to go around these regulations. Is it possible to release the game as SFW, and add the NSFW part in as a mod? The mod would be downloadable separate from Steam Workshop. I understand this can be a lot of work, but please give it some thoughts. Thank you for all your hard work!

As a longtime surpporter i understand your idea of splitting up the game into two parts to reduce some "risks" linked to publishing this kind of game on steam. Your work is technically great and i really like it. I started supporting this project because you created something other games without a subscription didnt deliverd. And thats the point i think as most others here i like to play this kind of games alone. Adding a MP was always something i didnt understand but it was ok for me at long as i thought that i will get 98% of the stuff in SP too. A lot of MP/Harem exclusive stuff with an own currency is something i really dislike. You said that this is necassary because otherwise you risk that steam/valve will ban the whole game from the store. I can tell you that this is right. Steam will remove such a game out of his store as soon as some"thing" like galatea will appear in it. Some markets are more "relaxed" as the US and european markets ,but howlong? What you can do / simulate in this game is quite close to things that are illigal in a lot of countries and do you really belive that steam will allowe you to sell a product over his store with an non controlled MP Part with such a contend? Sorry guys the time has changed. Even if Steam is more relaxed as in the past. As company located in the "west" it will be forced to change his mind after "me too" 2.0 or 3.0. You already mentioned pxxxhub and dont belive it will stop there as soon as something like paralogue appears in the brighter public. We support your work with arround 100.000$/month and its worth every penny and you will need to sale 6500 copies every month for the same ammount of $$$. So please rethink that steam release! Throwout the campain there and keep the "rest" here on patron. I am sure it will be the better solution for us as player/supporter and for you as developer.

As a follow up after reading some more comments - didn't want to make that initial post even more lengthy. A poll where EVERYONE, not just Patrons, can vote would be a great way to assess interest and opinions on decisions. You can have options like the example below: Poll Question: How do you feel about the decision for a SFW Story Mode to be split apart from the NSFW content as a separate game within Steam? A - I like it so much I wanna become a Patron B- I like it, will continue being a Patron C - I'm OK with it I guess, won't change my stance on subbing or not D - I don't like it, but I'll live with it E - I disagree with the direction strongly enough to withdraw my support F - Can we have a cat with all the physics in the game to pet The reason why I think a poll works better is because it's a one-click interaction that takes very little time, as opposed to going down to the comment section, clicking on the reply button, then clicking on the text box, then typing out your thoughts, then sending it. The fewer total interactions, the more people will respond. You can also set up polls on like, Discord or via an external website so you can have a Patreon poll and also an external poll to get more sample sizes. I would NOT suggest a Patrons-above-a-certain-paywall poll, given the circumstances.

Anyone who buys these games and are afraid to put it Steam because people might see it are ridiculous.

Well looks like other people have the same concern I have. I like definitely sexton a lot and about half the new ideas on the survey. Some of them are kinda redundant tho like I think there are enough scenes for certain types of monsters for example (I voted for larva, sexton, new male human types like fat/young) but I agree that a SFW campaign wasn’t at all what I thought the campaign was going to be. I thought the campaign was going to still be NSFW but with story/scene context but in a sexy way. I think having a story mode is good but one where it makes the sexy content more sexy thru the context.

Can't say that I agree with the direction of splitting the game. People subscribe because of the content, knowing full well what this game is, they decide that they don't want it in their library? They should have thought of that in the first place. Im not going to speak on multiplayer, I wont use it. I was considering subbing to the highest tier to get some of my suggestions put up, but after hearing this new direction, I'm unsure I want to stick around. Please don't perceive that as a veiled threat, I am just not agreeing with the direction. To hear that the campaign would not have NSFW content is very disappointing, since I'm sure many, if not all of us are here for that aspect.

I think the comments above show a pretty clear majority opinion of the community (that speaks and gives feedback, at least). I don't see the necessity in cleaving the content in two. Dima Kopylovas had a decent suggestion with the patch, and while I know next to nothing about the stresses and inconveniences of game development, I feel that it's standard marketing & sales common sense to strongly take into account a rather unified community response against a distressing feature. Unless the goal is to bait that response out, then "fix" it while not intending that method in the first place for brownie points; not that you're doing that but just saying it's overall a poor idea. The conversation sort of revolves entirely on the interpretation of this one sentence though, copied and pasted verbatim: "Operation Lovecraft: Paralogue, including nsfw gameplay only. While the campaign is safe for work, your progress in the campaign will be reflected in the nsfw playthrough of the Paralogue." Taken literally, it sounds like the Story Mode is well, just the Story Mode with no NSFW content. The Paralogue NSFW version then contains not only the NSFW stuff but ALSO the Story Mode, which transfers data from the Story SFW version of the game too? Which means that the Story is entirely separate from any NSFW aspects, if I understand this correctly? That's also a rather unpopular decision. Some ideas below - I've no idea how implementable they are in the engine but some food for thought: 1) To bounce off the patch concept - could get like a code or something you could input to unlock the NSFW content? Or even like, detect if "unlock.txt" is in the game folder - if so, NSFW content is open. Could have all the options hidden in the main menu, or even shown but greyed out with a non-descript name, and they would only be selectable once that code or file or whatever is detected. 2) It does sound like the gameplay and story was planned from the start to not have any NSFW content in there, thus the announcement and subsequent backlash. Changing direction might mean more work and costs, but I think it'd be worth it in the long run for a potentially genre-defining game in the NSFW game sphere. There's no better way to recoup investments than becoming the industry standard in the future. You can TELL that the game has the potential to do so, given the ardent support in pure numbers as well as the number of Patrons actively telling you their opinions. 3) Is there really no other viable storefront besides Steam? If you set up like...I don't know, a Paypal or something and set up a payment system on the current website, that could be one way for players to purchase the full game while the base story-mode without the NSFW content would be on Steam, with a link and a mentioning in that version for the NSFW full version to be on your website. I'm not sure how you'd send the game files though. PS: IIRC the "Likes" currency is for unlocking and obtained by playing the Harem Mode, yes? I think it was mentioned in a previous post. If that's the case, it's not gatcha premium currency like Genshin's primogems or whatever. Might wanna clarify that if that's the case. If it IS premium currency and the only way to obtain said Likes is cold hard dosh, then I think the response is justified. PSS: Check that gut reaction to lash out when negative feedback arises. While communication between the dev team and the Patrons is better than in the past (it was really quite bad at some points in the past years), folks that take the time to tell you their worries and give feedback, while paying since they need to to comment, generally are trying to help the team make the game the best it could. The worst thing they COULD do is just stay silent and then just un-sub, but they've taken the time and brain cells to send feedback instead. While not everyone's all roses and happiness, please understand that. While I don't agree with the overall direction of the game, the content so far has been done well. I hope the above feedback of both mine and the rest of the community can be taken, digested, and strongly considered as the game and the company (you're basically a company at this point) moves forward. Edit: Additional food for thought in the comment attached to this Reply about a poll doing some good.

This is the final nail in the coffin for me. I've been an on and off supporter with yourselves for a while, but that's it now as you continue to go down this route. The whole premise of this game was sold as an Adult game, and now you've relegated that to it's own programme to be a glorified flash gallery. Then there's the whole multiplayer debacle, we all know you're only pushing this angle because you want to monetise online in some way. You've already stated how patreons will get some sort of currency for use in that mode, why is there even a currency to begin with? Not to even mention online only content, which you have also admitted that without which online would be dead. Nobody wants to play some online jerk-off simulator. I totally agree that a NSFW campaign is a must. An animation showcase with only NSFW is maybe something that would be nice to have. You already pointed out a second steam account, so that is where anyone having something to hide for whatever reason should install it. I have to say that with each new update I am more and more disappointed in this project. First we get told that a lot of stuff will be multiplayer exclusive, and now we're told that the game won't even have NSFW stuff and that's being shoved off into a glorified animation showcase, creating complete dissonance between the gameplay and NSFW stuff. I don't care that stuff will be "reflected", it just sounds like a chore to constantly have to switch between one program and the other for what seems to be minimal reward. There's an issue with the dreamer when you remove his head it still leaves his eyeballs and mouth. Also for some reason the medium and high settings mode have a white flash when you turn your head.

I think this has been reported but the VR mode doesn't seem to work. It opens the start screen with the computer but it never boots into actual steamVR mode. This is both with Oculus Link and Virtual Desktop. It works fine in the last version.

Speaking of Steam release, will we still be able to get get a non Steam version? Some of us don't really want these types of games in our library, friends and family will know when we are spanking the monkey... and not all of us want that lol.

When you say enhanced NSFW gameplay only, does that mean Paralogue will have the same campaign but with NSFW mechanics (and the gallery+Harem mode)?

Trying to run the vr version but it isn't registering in steamvr. The game will open but I am unable to do anything.

thanks for the detailed explanation, so in the worst case scenario where the harem mode needs to be plugged, whats your alternative to allowing access for it? i havent been a fan of using steam either way for these types of games for the same reasons due to how steam censors their stuff (and have not used steam for over a year now) and was still hoping there will be a seperate online download elsewhere.
