I do not like the idea of making this game part online. Blocking steam user from enjoying horse monster. I prefer to get a patch from helius official website that unlocks certain fetishes are too sensitive or controversial to be put on Steam. This is a waste of resources and time. Make Harem Mode a seperate game like Paralogue0.32 and Paralogue0.32 VR instead.

I'm not TOO worried about certain features being gated behind multiplayer. As long as it's not something completely nonsensical that definitely doesn't need to be online to work at all. I'm much more worried whether you're going to go the same route as a certain other adult patreon project and move the final product to Steam exclusively, so that I cannot have it installed anonymously without creating a new Steam profile. You can say I'm anonymous in game as much as you want, if I'm playing it via Steam I'm not anonymous. I hope you'll keep a seperate, independent version of the final product available.

From what I know of steam, they don't block adult content outright. They block it from being seen if you don't have the setting to see that content and just toe the line at certain aspects such as underage stuff and probably other more taboo topics.

To summarize: we need help to set up a new mocap studio (not financial support, since we purchased the equipment ourselves) in a foreign country so the development can be continued during the pandemic -> a company reaches out to offer help and in exchange we are supposed to add a multiplayer mode so they can test the stability of their international servers on a real scenario with our service -> To us it is a rather interesting idea to add multiplayer features to the game. The steadfast commitment to the multiplayer content, despite objections from at least part of the community; and the general level of secrecy regarding the reasons for that decision (as I've seen in other comments) make it seem like an outside directive. Has the studio been bought out or received a large investment that had strings attached? Otherwise I'm somewhat lost to explain the choice of multiplayer for a niche adult game. If there are legitimate artistic or financial reasons for this choice, it is better to be up front about it.

Ugh, I may should have elaborated more on how the threesome mechanism works. No, theoretically there can't be infighting between the participators on who's the alpha when screwing the same girl. It is basically that the other player manually acts as the "auto speed" and "auto pose" functions for the character they control.

Really disappointed with multi actor scenes being locked behind multiplayer. I'd much prefer to be the one deciding what happens during a scene rather than fighting with another person on what things should be.

All your concerns have already been evaluated before I made the decision. We have plans to revitalize the game (with its multiplayer contents) with UE5 and more hardware demanding graphic techniques (some of them, like ray tracing, has already been put to test now) in the future should the game ages. It's just that the time for laying out the whole big picture has yet to come now.

Yuck. Did people actually request multiple person acts to be locked behind a multiplayer mode? I would never want to use multiplayer in this sort of game. Not ever, no matter how anonymous you try to make it. Multiple player acts can be handled by software, just like with modded Skyrim. I agree with others that multiplayer users will also disappear as the game ages. This is already a niche game. I don’t like the idea of my Patreon donations supporting a “feature” like this. I’d strongly recommend you not go down this route, lest we Patreons start voting with our wallets.

Being not fond of MP at all, I'm not sure how to feel about content being locked behind online play. On top of that, all online games, without exception, suffer from declining playerbases, and considering the game is rather niche, I don't think "continuously [updating] and [adding] contents" (as you said in another comment) will completely prevent that from happening, and one day, the multiplayer-only content _will_ become effectively inaccessible.

It's probably unintended, and really appreciate all that is being put into the game, but gating game content behind an online mod, especially in a sex game doesn't sound appealing to me. I want to fully enjoy the game in all it's content privately when I want. I don't want to have to wait for someone to "join" my room -especially later when the active player base is low- to enable certain game content for me. Just thinking about it is a turnoff for me. =(

Sounds great, but seeing sex is a major part of this game, I'd really wish for the threesomes to be in Single-player too. The game genre and sex, in general, is a private thing, I'd hate to have it being "controlled" or hinging on me inviting other players to it.
