Progress Report: More Work on Alet

I know many of you have been on the edge of your seat after the announcement of delay in Feburary. We are equally eager to bring her to your bed, and here is what we have achieved in the past month.
Those of you who followed me for a really long while and have an exceptionally good memory may remember the existence of Erika MK-I and MK-II. We were constantly making improvements and adding new features to the female body as we delve deeper into the making of sex scenes. Modifications piled up to cater the needs of the most exotic poses, but once too many additions were made and the rig run slow, it's the time to ditch the old body and start with a clean slate.
In order to make Alet able to take in dongs size of an arm while preventing clipping, we managed to implement a complex physics based system to drive the deformation of her vagina and anus. That resulted in slow simulation and heavy frame rate drop, which may cause serious lag in VR environment. So we had to take one step back and replaced it with a relatively light weighted solution. During the process we also removed all morphs and blendshapes, so now the rig is fully joint driven, even the bulged belly, thus the animation runs much faster than before.
We are now polishing the rig and stitching up the seams, and estimate to complete the new body soon.

Not sure how much IS possible, as I don't know the game mechanics, but I'm sure the developers do :) Anyways, it really does make a difference if you're able to create and play with characters with different looks.

Please consider the following: While it's obviously necessary - esp. to run the thing in VR - that the frame rate isn't too low - you could instead use the more demanding vagina and anus stretching model for close-ups of insertions of different objects. (Or there could be a version of the game which runs slower, but can be chosen, if you want to try this out). This could simply be an extra option in the game. I'm sure other members will be interested as well.
