About Feb's Game & upcoming Twines (don't worry, nothing's cancelled; there's just some news)

Hello!  TastyAce here.  Hope y'all are doing alright.

I'm still wrapping up the week's Patreon Exclusive, don't worry.  But I also meant to put out a post on this month's game, and JUST realized I hadn't done so earlier. >m< (I also meant to update the medical masterpost with new info on my health crisis [which I have "lovingly" dubbed Brain Ablaze], and I'll try to get to that tomorrow the latest.  But back to the topic at hand.)

So I started working on Feb's game--The Ultimate Eater's Sauna: A Valentine's Vacation--at the beginning of the month.  I had a plot idea, and as I went to itch, I decided to check out the game jams to see if there was any neat ones right now . . . and two of them absolutely lit a FIRE in my brain, igniting my mind with a fantastic idea for the month's interactive.

I started restructuring the initial idea to fit with the themes of the jams, and I sketched out the Twine in much more detail.  But the more I worked on it, the more I realized that (1) this game is going to be QUITE a bit longer than I expected so I needed to either scale some things back a lot or take longer to make it happen, and (2) it does retain aspects of the title voted on by y'all, but not as much as I'd like?  However, I do really like what it became even if it has changed a lot from that original starting point.

I pondered these things for a while, and was able to come up with a plan:

That about covers anything!  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  Just know that replying to messages is really difficult atm (a lot of the "simple" things that I used to manage just fine are like that now, including many things I took for granted, and life essentials unfortunately), so I could respond in a few minutes or it could take a few days.  I frankly wish that was not the case, but it's the reality of where I am right now.  All depends on my focus, energy levels, and treatment schedule.

Alright.  Stay safe out there and thanks for reading.  Until next time, everyone! <3
