__________

Laverne was enjoying a nice walk in the park, unaware she was being watched. . .
Tex licked his lips and stared at the human from the bushes.  She would make a great lunch, that was for sure.  All he had to do was strike, and then he could enjoy some food.
The coyote (who was only wearing a pair of shorts) snuck behind Laverne, one step at a time.  Once he was close enough, he grabbed her shoulders and dragged her back into the bushes.  Looking over her, he licked his lips.  “Mmm, you’re going to make such a delicious meal for me, cutie,” Tex remarked, grinning.
“Funny,” Laverne replied.  “I was just thinking the same thing about you!”
“W-What?!” the coyote stammered, letting her go in startled bewilderment.
Then, right before Tex’s eyes, the human began to transform!  Gray fur sprouted from her skin, appearing all over her body.  Claws came up from her fingers, and fangs spouted out of her mouth.  Pointy ears appeared on her head, and a tail popped out of her behind.  A moment later, she had changed into a more canine form—she was a werewolf!
Tex stood there, stunned by the sight.  Then he snapped out of it and turned to leave, wanting to run away—
“What do you think you’re doing?” Laverne asked.  She reached out and grabbed his shoulder—man, her grip was strong!—forcing him back to her.  “Going somewhere, lunch?” the werewolf taunted him.
“Y-Yeah, I am!” Tex replied.  “I’m getting out of here!”  He gulped.  “Look, I’m sorry I tried to eat you!  I won’t do it again, I promise!”
Laverne smirked.  “It’s too late for apologies, I’m afraid.  Now you get to feed me!”
She wrapped her hands around his arms and brought him to her mouth.  Then, she opened it wide.
Tex gulped as he stared inside of the werewolf’s maw: sharp canines surrounded it, covered in drool, along with a tongue that was smothered in saliva.  And behind it all, her throat loomed, foreshadowing the coyote’s destination. . . He tried to pull his head away, but Laverne shoved it inside of her mouth: the feeding had begun.
Tex whimpered as her tongue ran across his face, tasting him roughly.  “Mmm!” exclaimed the werewolf.  “You have a great flavor.  Let’s send you down the hatch, where you belong!”
Before the coyote could protest, a loud /GULP/ echoed around the mouth, and he was shoved forward, going from the more open area of Laverne’s mouth, into the cramped, constricting tunnel of her throat.  It squeezed tightly around him, refusing to let him go—he couldn’t even pull his head out now!
The werewolf swallowed him down quickly, shoving more and more of him down her throat, until his head popped into a new, wider space.  At first, he was relieved—but then he heard growling around him, and saw fluids on the walls in front of him.  This was her stomach!
He tried to escape, but it was too late. Laverne gulped him down faster, and soon, all of him was in her stomach—and just like that, it was done.  All of Tex had been devoured whole.
Laverne let out a /buuuuurp/ and sat down on a nearby park bench, smiling.  “Man, you were tasty!” she exclaimed, grinning and patting her big belly.  “Definitely filled me up nice.”
“And now you’re going to spit me out?” Tex suggested, squirming around in her stomach.
“Ha!  Not a chance!” the werewolf replied, laughing.  “You’re going to digest and reform just like anybody else.  So sit tight, snack.  You’re going to get broken down and added to my hips. . .”
A moment later, the process began.
Fluids dripped from the walls and landed on Tex’s body, making him feel melty and strange.  They formed a pool at the bottom of the stomach, and soon, he was getting broken down.  His feet melted from solid to liquid, joining the rest of the juices in the pool, and the rest of his body wasn’t far behind.  His legs got slowly broken down by the digestive fluids; then, his hips and midsection were reduced.  After that his chest and arms liquefied like the rest of him, and then his shoulders and head melted.  All the while, he squirmed and struggled, but nothing got him out of this.
Now only Tex’s head was left to digest, and the coyote had realized that trying to escape wasn’t helping.  So he sighed, and accepted his fate.  And now that he was thinking of other things, he had to admit he was curious about something. . .
“So how did you get the power to transform into a werewolf, anyway?” the coyote asked Laverne.
“Oh, that’s quite a story,” she told him.  “It’s a rather long one too, but I’ll tell you the short and sweet version.  You see, I had the bad luck to encounter a mischievous magic user.  He basically wanted me to be his pet werewolf, under his control.”
“That’s awful!” Tex exclaimed.
“Thanks, it certainly was bad,” she replied.  “Luckily, I ran into a magic user with better intentions, and she was able to break me out from under his control.  Now I can choose when the transform, and I maintain full control of my actions when I do so, too!  Much more preferable, I assure you.”
“That’s pretty great,” the coyote admitted.  “And pretty cool, actually. . .”
At that moment, the last of his head melted away, and he was fully digested.
Laverne let out another belch, and Tex’s acid-proof shorts came flying out of her mouth, landing on the ground in front of her.  “Let me just speed things up a bit,” she muttered, taking a Quick Reform pill and popping it into her mouth.  As she waited for Tex to regenerate, the digested remains of the coyote got absorbed into her, adding to her form.  Her hips widened slightly, and pudge got added to her belly.  The werewolf smiled and patted her gut.  “Always nice when someone adds to my figure,” she said, smirking.
A moment later, Tex began to reform around his shorts.  His feet appeared first, forming in front of Laverne, and his legs quickly followed, until they were all inside of his shorts.  Then his hips and midsection grew in, along with his chest and arms.  Finally, his shoulders appeared, then his neck and head popped back into existence.
“Whew, I’m back!” he exclaimed, standing up from the ground.
“Welcome back to the world of the living,” The werewolf teased.
“But I’m pretty hungry now. . .” Tex said.  He groaned.  “I didn’t have lunch yet.”
“I’ll tell you what,” Laverne said.  “If you promise to behave yourself, I'll take you to a hot dog cart vendor in the park so you can get fed as well.  Deal or no deal?”
“Deal,” the coyote replied.  He hesitated before adding, “By the way . . . I’m Tex.  What’s your name?”
“I’m Laverne,” the werewolf told him.  “Nice to meet you.”
“You too.”  The two of them started walking.  “Now, can you continue that story about how you became a werewolf. . .?”
And thus was the unusual start of a beautiful friendship.
