The villainous Regus (a panther man with a scorpion’s tail) sat down on his throne as his two scientists approached, rolling a table with a sheet on top. “What do you have for me today, minions?” he asked, smiling.
“We have a device you will be most pleased with, master,” the first one, a sergal named Sakura, said eagerly. “Devin, will you unveil our creation?”
Devin, a chimera, nodded shyly and removed the cloth from on top of the table. “H-Here it is, master,” he said, gesturing to the machine underneath.
Devin’s snake tail, Charlie, hissed. “I believe you will be mossssssst pleasssssed by our creation.”
“And what is it?” Regus asked impatiently. “Is it everything I asked for?”
Devin and Sakura nodded. “A vacuum device, just as you asked,” Sakura said to their master. The machine had a large cylindrical base, with buttons on the side and a tube sticking out of the top. “It’s capable of sucking up with amazing force, and disintegrating your enemies as you desire.”
Regus nodded. “I am most pleased,” the panther man said, standing from his throne. “Has it been properly tested?”
Sakura and Devin exchanged a glance. “It has been tested on inanimate objects, and a few animals,” Devin said hesitantly.
“But not a large living creature?”
“No. . .”
“Then let’s test it out.” Regus smiled evilly as he reached the scientists, and he reached out, picking up the large device. “How do you turn this thing on and off?”
“You use the blue button here to turn it on,” Devin told him, pointing.
“And the red button turns it off,” added Charlie.
“Good, good,” the panther man said, smiling. “Step forward, Devin.”
Confused, the chimera obeyed his master, moving up, and therefore moving away from Sakura. “Um, alright, master,” he said. “Why do you want me too. . .?”
“Shush,” Regus said. “You’ve been a valuable ally, but not valuable enough. Your usefulness is at an end. Goodbye.”
Before Devin could react, the panther man turned on the machine and pointed it right at the chimera’s tail. And thus, the sucking began.
Charlie let out a scream as the force of the vacuum came nearer to him, and when it was close, he found himself unable to move out of the way. He tried to get away from the sucking machine, but the force of it was too great—he was being pulled toward it! “Help!” screamed the snake. “Somebody help me!”
Devin, too, tried to move away from the vacuum, but like Charlie, he found that the force was just too strong, and he found himself being pulled toward it, not away from it. “M-Master, please! Consider what you’re doing!” the chimera begged as his snake tail got pulled closer and closer to the machine. He flapped his wings, trying to fly out, but that didn’t work, either.
“I have considered it,” Regus said coldly. “And I’ve /considered/ you nothing more than a tool now.”
Frantically, Devin looked around, trying to find a way to escape. Then he spotted his fellow scientist. “Sakura!” he yelled. “You have to pull me out of here, please!”
But Sakura didn’t move. She knew what the cost of defying their master was. If she helped him, she would likely end up in the same position Devin was in now—and she didn’t want that. So the other scientist said nothing, and did nothing, simply staring on as the chimera was pulled inside the vacuum.
Charlie was sucked closer and closer to the tube-shaped nozzle of the machine, until his head finally got pulled in. “Oh no!” the snake screamed—or tried to scream, because the space was too tight for him to say much of anything. He fought and writhed inside, trying to escape this predicament, but he was no match for the force of the vacuum.
Seeing the fighting, Regus laughed maniacally. “Yes, keep struggling!” the panther man yelled. “It brings such joy to see you like this, Devin—so helpless! I love seeing you fight so fruitlessly.”
More and more of the chimera’s long snake tail got sucked inside of the vacuum, going down the tube. Charlie continued to try and fight on the inside, but he still couldn’t move no matter how hard he tried. And he was getting closer to the main section of the vacuum. . .
All of Devin’s tail went inside the vacuum, and now, the tube reached his ass. The machine did what it was designed to do, and the tube increased in size, stretching to fit around Devin’s plump butt. “No, no!” the chimera screamed. He was truly starting to panic now, and the dread was beginning to sink in. . .
At that moment, Charlie’s head stopped traveling down the tube, and it popped into the main bag of the vacuum. The snake looked around: it was a spacious, cylindrical space, whirring from all the noise the vacuum was making. But then, once his head was inside, the machine began to work as intended: it began to disintegrate the snake, and turn him into dust.
“NO!” Charlie screamed as he began to break down.
“Oh no, Charlie!” Devin cried out, realizing what was happening, as a tingly feeling entered his tail. The chimera tried to pull his tail out of the main bag of the vacuum, but it was stuck tight—he was trapped. “NO!”
Charlie opened his mouth to say something else, but at that moment, his jaw disintegrated into nothing, turning into dust that fell down to the bottom of the machine. “Mmmm!” he cried, as the rest of his head got broken down. Soon enough, his entire head was gone—Charlie was no more.
“CHARLIE!” Devin screamed, tears leaving his eyes now. “No. . .”
Regus laughed. “And you’re next.”
The vacuum sucked more of Devin inside, pulling his butt into the tube and compacting his body in the process. His feet and chest came together, and the vacuum sucked in both of them, going up his legs and back to pull more of the chimera inside.
Devin frantically glanced around, and his eyes fell on Sakura again. “Please, Sakura!” he begged. “Please help me!”
But the sergal just shook her head. She knew better than to disobey her master and help her former friend. If she tried, she was good as disintegrated with him. And so, she stood there, not moving.
More and more of Devin got pulled into the machine: by now, the tube had reached the wings at the top of his back, and was almost at his feet and head. “No. . .” Devin said meekly, sobbing. “No, master, please. . .”
“That’s it,” Regus cooed. “Comfort me with your cries of pain. I love it.”
Devin closed his mouth and tried to think of a way to get out of this . . . but his mind could think of nothing. By now, his entire tail was gone, and his butt was almost at the main bag of the machine. . .
He reached out his arms, hoping that somebody, /anybody/ would pull him out of here. The tingly feeling reached his ass, and it began to be broken down, As more and more of his body trickled into the main section of the vacuum, the tingles spread, turning more of Devin into dust.
His neck had been pulled in by now: all that was left was his head, feet, and arms. He looked up helplessly at Sakura. “G-Goodbye,” he whispered, his voice a sob. Then, the vacuum slurped up his head and feet, and they were gone. Then his arms were sucked in, and suddenly, all of him was headed toward the main bag.
The tingling spread up his back and legs as the rest of him trickled inside. His chest and thighs disintegrated, then his head and calves. Finally, the chimera’s arms went inside the bag, and turned to nothingness.
Regus switched off the machine and unscrewed the lid, peeking inside. All that was in there was dust, the remains of what had once been Devin, and he smiled. “Good work,” he said, looking up at Sakura. “You did well. Now that this machine has been tested, we can put it to use.”
He laughed and screwed the lid back on.
“Let’s lure Abyss here so she can see what it’s like to be disintegrated, shall we?”

Abyss was currently flying in her spaceship. The disgruntled bounty hunter had been through quite a lot recently, and she wasn’t in the best of moods. But at least she had a target.
A new villain had popped up on her screen as she was flying: Regus, a panther man who was worth quite a lot when turned into the authorities. His last known whereabouts, according to the information she had been given, was at his hideout on the moon of Pegasus-9, so that’s where she was headed.
“I’m coming for you, Regus,” Abyss muttered, smirking. “And when I get you, you’re going to make me rich.”
She was already wondering what she should spend the bounty money on—new repairs for her ship? Upgrades to her bionic arm and wing? New crossbow bolts? All of the above?—when Pegasus-9 came into view. Smirking, the bounty hunter went towards it, careful not to get caught up in the gravitational pull of the planet, and flew around the spherical world. Sure enough, on the other side lie the moon of Pegasus-9, and on that moon, she could make out some sort of base.
“I got you know,” Abyss said triumphantly. She flew toward the moon, this time letting the pull of the planetary body take her as she readied herself for a landing, and soon, she was on its surface. After grabbing her sword and readying her crossbow, the bounty hunter left her ship, and began heading towards the base.
She slowly made her way towards it, sneaking and going low to the ground. The base was a tall tower, approximately three stories tall, and from the information she had gathered, Regus was at the top.
Now, how to get in. . .?
__________
/2 hours previously. . ./
“I’ve sent the data to her ship,” Regus announced, pressing a button on his intergalactic computer. He turned to his minions, all of whom he had called for a meeting, to prepare for Abyss’s arrival. Sakura was among them, and she looked as guilty as she felt.
“She’ll arrive here in about two hours’ time, if she’s quick about it,” the panther man explained to his underlings. “When the bounty hunter gets here, we’ll lure her inside. She’ll likely order one of you to take her to me—don’t resist her. Do exactly what she says. She’ll want to see me, to claim her reward.”
Regus smirked, lifting up the vacuum.
“Little will she know she’ll be walking right into a trap.”
__________
Abyss stared out at the base, thinking of ways to break in . . . when the door suddenly opened, and one of Regus’s minions walked out! Perfect.
Not wanting to waste any time, the bounty hunter dashed up to the underling and put her sword to their throat. “Don’t resist,” she growled. “Open that door back up. Or I’ll separate your head from your shoulders.
The minion, a scrawny brown rat named Leech, quickly nodded and went back to the door. With a sword still at his neck, he got his keycard from his pocket, and opened the door. “Good,” Abyss said, dashing inside and leaving the minion behind.
She found herself in a sterile white hallway, with an elevator at the end, and stairs next to it. The bounty hunter dashed into the stairwell and snuck her way up, hiding when she saw minions of Regus walking by, and making steady progress until, finally, she reached the top.
Opening the door, she found herself in a large, wide room, with a purple carpet that led to a throne. And on that throne sat the one she had come for: Regus.
“Why hello, Abyss,” the panther man sneered, standing up with a smirk. “It’s been a while. Not much of an elevator person, hmm?”
“Can it, cat,” the bounty hunter snapped. She pointed her crossbow at him. “Come with me now. Or I’ll be forced to shoot.”
“Oh, I’m so scared,” Regus mocked her, laughing. “Go ahead and use that thing. I assure you, things won’t go quite as you’ve planned them.
“Fine.” Abyss smiled. “You’re wanted dead or alive, after all.”
She fired all three bolts in quick succession, aiming at the panther man’s heart—but to her surprise, he dodged all of her shots, moving smoothly to avoid them! Gritting her teeth, the bounty hunter pulled her sword from its hilt, and charged at Regus.
She swung wildly at him, but the panther man dodged every hit, moving left and right in a seamless dance. Then, he found an opening and kicked the sword out of her hands. It landed on the ground far away, useless now.
Abyss clenched her fists. “Now you’re gonna get it,” she growled.
She charged at Regus, and the panther man continued to dodge, backing up step by step. The bounty hunter didn’t notice that he was leading her back to the throne, where the machine leaned against his chair. . .
Finally, they reached it. Regus jumped back and grabbed the vacuum, which he held triumphantly. “Say goodbye, Abyss,” he said, grinning.
Then he turned it on, pointing it at her feet.
Upon seeing the device, Abyss had been confused as to what it was. But as it started to suck her legs inside, she was starting to understand what it did—and though it didn’t seem dangerous (what, was Regus going to hold her captive inside of a vacuum bag?), she knew she had to escape.
The bounty hunter flapped her wings desperately, trying to get away from the device. But the machine was too strong. It sucked her feet in first, then her calves. “Oh come on!” Abyss yelled, writhing and trying to get out.
“There’s no escape for you this time, Abyss,” Regus said triumphantly. “Now you’ll pay for foiling my plans.”
Her thighs were pulled inside, and that’s when her feet reached the vacuum’s bag. She felt them get very tingly, and before she knew it, her feet were disintegrating into dust. . .
“Oh fuck,” Abyss swore, realizing what this vacuum was capable of. She flapped her wings harder than before, struggled and fought like a mad man, but nothing she did got her out of the vacuum. Her hips were sucked inside of the machine, and her calves began turning into dust inside of the bag. . .
The bounty hunter flapped her wings again, but at that moment, they too were pulled into the hose of the machine. “Oh come /on/!” Abyss yelled, trying to yank them out of there. But they were stuck tight, unable to escape the force of the vacuum. And so the process continued. . .
Her stomach and arms got pulled inside, along with half of her wings, and as a result, all of her calves entered the bag, disintegrating down into dust. Her thighs began to enter it, and got broken down the minute they were inside the bag. This was a real pickle, now wasn’t it? Was there any way to escape this predicament?
The vacuum pulled in Abyss’s chest, sucking in the rest of her arms and wings as well, and suddenly, only her head and neck were left to be consumed. “Any last words?” Regus snarled victoriously.
Abyss turned to him with a scowl. “I’ll be back,” she snapped. “I’ll—”
At that moment, her head was pulled inside, and the rest of her body traveled down the tight tube to the vacuum’s bag. Bit by bit the bounty hunter was broken down: the rest of her thighs, her hips, her stomach, her chest, her neck. Until, finally, her head entered the bag of the vacuum, and was broken down into dust like everything else.
And just like that, it was done. All of Abyss had been vacuumed up and broken down into nothing.
Regus smiled and patted the vacuum. He knew that the bounty hunter would regenerate—but that took time. Plus, giving such an enemy this kind of death was /very/ satisfying, even if it was only temporary.
He slung the vacuum over her shoulder and sat down on his throne. Yes, today was a good day.
Little did he know that a certain scientist had plans for the vacuum once Regus was sleeping:
She planned to use it to end the villain once and for all.
