I've been having trouble keeping up with the current demand for art recently and I'm still just scraping by financially. The law of supply and demand dictates that I should make some changes, so here's what's happening, starting next month...
Reward Updates - First of all, instead of having a distinction between reward sketches and commissions, I'm going to remove reward sketches altogether. Clients and Regulars will instead be awarded an equivalent amount of credits (like you get for bounties) that they can spend for commissions. Instead of doing one simple pic each month, Clients and Regulars will now be able to hoard credits for a bigger commission later. They'll still have the option to spend credits on a monthly sketch, but it will go through the regular process for a commission, including the 2-per-queue limits.
For those who have been getting reward sketches AND maxing out their commission slots - sorry, but I can't keep up with that much art every month -_-
Price Adjustments - Back in January, I said I'd review my prices in 6 months and see if I need to slap more charges on. I'm 3 months over-due for that, so I did some research on what similar artists are charging, and I've come to the conclusion that yes, I am asking for too little. Starting with the next commission queue, prices will change as follows...
