Hey friends!! The end of October and beginning of November have been really amazing for me in terms of reaching goals and seeing positivity in my life. Things feel like they're turning around, some. How have these past weeks been for you and yours?
I am just a few unpainted baseboards away from having the main floor of my house more-or-less done. Thank goodness. Still have the suite to work on and had a particularly awful run-in with the toilet downstairs (what a story... it was CEMENTED TO THE FLOOR by the previous homeowner/by the construction crew who built the home!), but I have plans finally for it!
It is my birthday next week (Nov 17!) and I am so delighted to be hosting my mini-party with just my family (mom, dad, sister, fiancé and the dogs) at my house this afternoon. Getting the house in party-ready shape has taken the better part of two weeks, hence the late post... but never fear! I have new content to post immediately! :D

Oh my goodness that's AWFUL (and a little bit hilarious). Who would have thought this was a good idea?! I really don't want to have to jackhammer out this chunk of cement!!
2020-12-13 21:59:49 +0000 UTCI had a similar toilet problem! I think they used plaster or something similar instead of a wax ring, while it was easily enough to get the toilet free, it was a bitch and a half to scrape everything off of the flange to make it usable again...
