Their babies grow very slowly, so the pregnancy isn't too taxing even if there's a litter of two dozen on the way. This is very different to the relatively short pregnancy of a Bo demon, which only lasts for three quarters of a year, but usually only produces one or two young at a time.
With this being the case, our MC has had time for three back to back pregnancies while he's been staying with Masso as his mate, and now it seems he's going to give birth to his third on the same night Masso is getting ready to deliver the bumper litter of pups the MC sired for him all that time ago. π
