Did You Know? There are lots of different types of robots to choose from if the big 'bots like Manny take up too much space for your liking. Manny - and other Specialist class robots like him - are very powerful and boast impressive multitasking abilities, but they're not very practical for everyday use unless you specifically need that power and multitasking.
Luckily, there are lots of smaller, more portable types to choose from! The very smallest are Pocket-class robots, which are very convenient but so limited in their abilities as to make them largely useless for most kinds of actual work, so most folks looking for a robot to help them get things done go for the next best thing, a General class. They're middle-of-the-road units that are small enough to be decently portable without much trouble but powerful enough to be relied on for most kinds of common work. Slayer (foreground) is an older General class, for example!
The newer, more compact models, like Ludo (middle) even have a "mouth", which not only makes them more expressive and therefore more appealing to the casual users to whom General class robots are marketed, but also allows them to draw charge from other units! The larger General class models like Slayer typically have functional charge points themselves, but being designed as a "jack of all trades" also tends to make them a master of none - they can charge other units, but they don't have the power to spare to be very good at it. That's when you want a big boy like Manny. <3
And yes, licking them is like licking a battery and very much not a recommended action for users.
