I still plan to return to develop FDM8 but I've been so overwhelmed that it has been extremely difficult to do so. However I'm about to reach a milestone with SARA (getting it published on the Chrome's store) once that's achieved I will start looking into FDM8 again.

Changelog for 0.63b:

-Fixed the “Open Folder” function during sessions

-Changed image controls during session. They are now very similar to the native Windows Photos app (Use scroll to zoom in and out, press and hold a mouse button to pan. Left Button pan is normal, Right button pan is inverted)

-Added new references (962 total = 846 from the Public domain + 117 that are mine)

-Changed countdown timer sound

What's FDM8?

Figure Drawing M8 is a Windows app that creates figure drawing sessions in a gamified way!
The more you practice the more points you get to unlock drawing/anatomy tips, themes, assistants, welcome quotes, etc..
It comes with over 900 reference images (public domain + some of my works) and you can add your own references too!
In its current version the app comes with 60 welcome quotes, 36 tips, 4 assistants, 3 themes and 3 practice modes.
It features non destructive image editing to help your practice, ex: image flips, convert to monochrome, custom grid overlays and a daily streak system.

NOTES:

This is not a drawing app. FDM8 allows windows resizing so you can use your favorite drawing app on its side or do the drawing in a different monitor/device/pen and paper
