Last week was a live Hangin' Out session with the writers and riffers (known herein as the Wriffers), talking about our forthcoming special SuperZeroes compilation!

I would pay the goodest of money to watch the guys riff Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky, TBH. Like, yes, it is EXTRAORDINARILY gory and violent, but the actual FX work for the gore is so laughably fake and cheesy that I can see it just being one of the more R-rated releases, which are definitely fun.

Imagine if Hancock had been made in Australia in the 70’s but instead of Will Smith, they has Alan Arkin. And instead of Charlize Theron they had Christopher Lee. Come for Alan Arkin Alan Arkening his way through the script - stay for Christopher Lee singing (yes it’s a musical) his evil scheme using only the names of mixed drinks. There’s singing, dancing, bad effects, silly sight gags, a pie fight, and a pi fight. I had to get my wife to confirm I was not hallucinating. Y’all need to Riff this film.

Whose #1 henchmen, Mr Peterson, also henched for the bigbad in The Tehran Incident / Missile X opposite Peter Graves. And you included Mr. B-natural but no Coily the Spring Sprite, from A Case of Spring Fever? "No Springs!" Or Mr. Paperbag from Paper and, he even abducted a kid!

And let me say that was a fun riff, and I wonder if any of the other Sons of Hercules would be available for riffing. Any of the Batman movies/serials included? "Firehead" and "Supersonic Man" are two of my favorite releases. Two memorable scenes from "Supersonic Man" are when he picks up the road-construction roller (made of cardboard?), and the fight scene in the bar where the scientist's daughter is kidnapped and Supersonic Man is knocked out. And there's the "running gag" of the severely drunk guy and his dog, who end up being the replacement for Supersonic Man.
