Brand new on the site, it's a movie I haven't seen that belongs to one of my favorite genres, the Bad 70s Monster Movie. And it's not just ANY monster movie - this one takes place in Wisconsin!
It’s just a typical day of Dynamite Fishing on a rural Wisconsin lake when something shocking happens: the yokel fisherman DOESN’T blow his hand off! But then he’s quickly eaten by a bog monster, so his afternoon is a wash.
Awakened by the dynamite blast, the monster terrifies the community by cutting off their supply of cheese curds and occasionally drowning somebody. Fortunately the Sheriff has a plan: enlist the help of the local Bog Hag! What, your town doesn’t have a Bog Hag? Well, it was either that or deputize a drunken posse, and actually, he does that too. (It does not go well.)

After seeing fish being blown up by a guy stood up by Kermit the Frog, an ear-chilling opening song while looking at terrible font-ed names, I still couldn't help being more visually immersed and puzzled by the guy drinking the beer with another beer still attached via plastic rings...why, sir..why😟?😄
