Talkin' RiffTrax: COBRA!

Hey there Traxians! Mike, Kevin and Bill are here once more to dive back into Cobretti's world with the latest Talkin' RiffTrax! They discuss his non-snake-like behavior, his "health food" kick, and whether or not this movie is an homage to Dirty Harry.

You can get this Just the Jokes MP3 riff here (the movie is free on HBO Max right now, and cheap to rent everywhere else), as well as download this Talkin' RiffTrax right here. As the guys mention in this episode, this riff is free to our 2023 Kickstarter backers at the $75 level and higher! So if that sounds like you, be sure to head to the Rewards Page to unlock your copy.

P.S. Don't forget: tonight at 5pm Pacific / 8pm Eastern, Super and Ultra Traxians can join us in a live stream over Zoom where the writers and riffers will hang out to talk in great detail about another glorious hunk of action movie cheese coming soon on the site that you won't want to miss. (Here's a hint: it stars Daniel Baldwin and Coolio!) As always, Patron subscribers at those levels will be able to participate in a live Q&A at the end of the main event. We'll make the video available a little bit later to all Traxians!

The slasher style kills as well. Felt like I was watching F13.

That "upstate CA" location is not only in Southern California but where The Return was filmed in Piru,CA. It's off the 126 in Ventura County.

It's funny, I think Cobra DOES use his signature match to set one of the last goons on fire, but because he seems to pull it out of his pocket or belt, it's muddled, and we aren't even sure if it IS that matchstick. So yeah, they might as well not have bothered with the whole "chewing on a matchstick" bit. XD

There's a lot of good "Cannon fodder" out there. Too many B-movies, too little time!

I got to see this masterpiece in the theater back in 1986 and I remember thinking how ridiculous it was. I remember that it was controversial at the time because of the incredibly high body count.

I hope to see you tackle the Cannon Ninja Trilogy. Enter The Ninja, Revenge of the Ninja, and Ninja 3: The Domination was meant to be riffed.
