Turkey Thursday: RESCUE ME!
Added 2022-02-16 19:35:00 +0000 UTCHello, Traxians! Tomorrow, I'll be streaming a Bridget & Mary Jo turkey in the form of the movie Rescue Me (not to be confused with the firefighter TV drama starring Denis Leary).
Rescue Me is a coming-of-age film about a high school loser, Fraser, who sets out to rescue his secret crush, Ginny, from a couple of thugs who have abducted her as collateral in a stamp deal gone bad.
He meets up with war vet Mack, who wants his stamps back, and together they set out on a cross-country adventure from the Oklahoma region of Southern California all the way to Venice Beach.
I'll be screening this through Vimeo on Thursday (tomorrow), Feb 17, at 3:30pm Pacific / 6:30pm Eastern. All you'll need is Google Chrome and the free Scener extension (as well as a Scener account if you wish to join in the chat). Just click the Join Party button when it appears. See you there!
