Hey Super and Ultra Traxians!
July is here, and since we're finally into the meat of summer, we thought it was about time we declared it The Summer of Joe Estevez. You see, not only are we about to riff one new Joe Estevez film, but we're about to riff more than one. The guys want to hang with you, and talk everything there is to know about The Summer of Joe!

once at my job i watched a training video on good customer service and i was shocked that it stared Joe Estevez. i pointed this out and managed to direct the post-video discussion with my co-workers into all talking about Joe and his illustrious career.

2021-07-28 00:47:58 +0000 UTCI used to rag on Joe E. as much as anyone else in the MST3K+ (I just made that up to include all the other offshoot programs) community, and I kinda still do. But, although I've never met him, a look at his IMDB profile shows that he's busier than a one-armed paper hanger in a windstorm. I mean the movies aren't Oscar material for sure, but it's work. I've also done soundtrack work for two movies that he's in-- which were never released-- but the director says he shows up ready to work every time. Look under his IMDB profile for the movies "Niemand" and "A Turn in the Sun," and you'll see me listed as "Additional Music" or some such. Again, I'm no Hans Zimmer, but I'm trying. All in all, I'm in favor of the summer of Joe, and shameless self-promotion!
