Got Netflix? Help us "break" Scener this Wednesday!

Hi there, Traxians! Erik here with a small request.

As you may already know, next Tuesday the 29th we're hosting a RiffTrax Live show thanks to the fine folks at Scener, with a live riff of Starship Troopers on Netflix US.

Before that, though, we're doing a quick Beta Test with Marvel's Daredevil - Season 1 Episode 1 - on Netflix, and we'd love to have you there with us! 

We know that our first Scener event didn't exactly start off as smoothly as we'd hoped it would (and you all got to see more of me than you probably ever expected), but that first mostly-successful attempt gave the Scener team a bounty of helpful data about hosting big watch parties with so many fans in attendance. Since then, they've worked on improvements behind the scenes to make it so that up to 1 million people can watch along, and their newest build was just launched earlier this afternoon.

That's where you come in. While we're confident this next event will go without a hitch, we want to help Scener tune their new version with another trial run. To that end, we'll be riffing a portion of the Daredevil show's pilot episode LIVE this Wednesday evening, and we want to get as many RiffTrax fans watching us as possible. Of course, I wanted to let you, our loyal Traxians, know first!

So, head on over to our snazzy new Scener profile here. Install or Update your Scener Chrome browser extension if you haven't already, and be sure to Follow us so you get a notification before we Go Live. (You can also create your own account, complete with a profile image! You'll need one if you want to participate in Chat, but it's not required.)

Then, at 5:30 pm Pacific / 8:30 pm Eastern this Wednesday, September 23rd, we'll go live on Scener for this super fun beta test of the updated Scener. And, if you show up a little early, you might even get to see a pre-show of sorts...
