Various incarnations of the Whizzo show ran in Kansas City and then Topeka from 1954 until 1987, but the riffed Christmas episode has a very mid-60s feel to it. Whizzo was so popular in the area that a local bank had a Banthrico bank made up of him as a giveaway. I have one, and Whizzo looks much more dignified in bronze.
