A title better suited to describe a short but loud fart, Light Blast actually proves the rule that no matter how much money you throw at a film, there’s no guarantee it’ll be a good film.
An international cast, a then-high-profile TV star in the lead, elaborate multi-camera chase scenes through San Francisco, dangerous stunts, massive explosions; and yet the filmmakers managed to make Smokey and the Bandit 2 look like Autumn Sonata in comparison. But that’s the fun of it for us, and hopefully for you.
Enjoy, but try not to explode.
