Talkin' RiffTrax: VENGEANCE OF THE DEAD

Sorry, but I was totally distracted by the '70s MATCH GAME episode playing behind Mike's head.

Franklin Harris

I love hanging out with you all. I love learning about creative processes, and the stories are always good. "Stay for the burning scarecrow at the end" had extra meaning for me, as it reminded me of the time David Tenant, as the Doctor, punished one especially evil person by trapping his spirit in a scarecrow, and walking away. Now I imagine the Doctor, who always has such a collection in his pockets, saying "Naahh," pulling out a lighter, and torching the scarecrow. A much sunnier memory came to me when I misremembered Kevin as referring to a "flaming scarecrow at the end," I remembered a character from the bizarrely (and occasionally disturbingly) funny computer game, "toonstruck," starring (among others) Christopher Lloyd and the voice of Tim Curry. The character I recall now is a very flaming scarecrow, or as he calls himself, "a carecrow." To fully appreciate Toonstruck, look up "Gaming for Kitties," Florida cartoonist Gen Whitmore's now annual 48-hour gaming marathon, streaming live, in memory of a family cat. Gen and us, her fans, were raising funds for Big Cat Rescue, years before Carol Baskin became infamous, with the release of "Tiger King."

“Match Game!”

So glad you have finally recognized the genius of "Kiss Kicker 99" by The Fontanelles. Legit one of my favorite 80's songs.

Off topic, Someone good at caricatures should do Sean as a mouse. He'd make a great mouse-in a good way,Sean.

David Scudder

Please, we refer to ourselves as "Slim Jims" not "Slimheads!"

You know, bald Bill is really working for me. I'd like to see action figures as soon as possible.
