New Patreon Tiers!

We have really enjoyed our time on Patreon so far, and your support has been absolutely overwhelming. We're always looking for more ways to bring you even more of us, and so, after much consideration and discussion, we've decided to create two new tiers!
SUPER TRAXIAN ($5/Month)
Super Traxians will get all the benefits of being a Traxian, plus access to Patreon Exclusive Zoom calls with the RiffTrax writers, staff and crew. These calls will last at least 30 minutes, and will occur at least once a month. On the call, the RiffTrax team will answer your questions, preview clips from upcoming riffs, give a sneak preview of what's to come, and a whole lot more.
ULTRA TRAXIAN ($17/Month)
Ultra Traxians will enjoy everything in our other awesome tiers of course, but what else will you get for $17 a month? First off, we'll have monthly "Riff This!" contests, where the winner will receive their choice of a "TraxBox" - a collection of a bunch of RiffTrax goodies (perhaps even rarities) straight from RiffTrax HQ - or credit to buy some riffs at RiffTrax.com.
AND! After you've been an Ultra subscriber for three months, we (and Patreon) will send you this super-exclusive ULTRA TRAXIAN logo shirt. Check it:
This shirt design will ONLY be available to subscribers of this tier. See below for available sizes!
Being an Ultra Traxian also means: once a year, your name will be included in the credits of a RiffTrax VOD. One of our most popular Kickstarter rewards is now available to patrons! The VOD in question will be one released later this year. More details on that soon.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are a Founding Traxian and want to upgrade to a higher tier, you will lose the "Founding Traxian" membership here — BUT, you will not lose the "Founding Traxian" benefit you received when you first signed up.
But, if you want to ensure your Founder status, we recommend linking your Patreon account FIRST at https://rifftrax.com/user (click the "Link your Patreon account" button), if you haven't done so already. That will unlock the "Founding Traxian" achievement, which will be permanent! Then you can come back here, and finish upgrading if that's what you want to do.
We'll continue to provide all the same behind-the-scenes goodies to folks at the Traxian level, and we're working on new stuff to bring you all the time!

Hi David, I actually fixed this today. The "You're a Patreon!" button is clickable; so on the "My Account" page at rifftrax.com/user, please click that button again, and after authorization you should see your new tier reflected. - Erik

2020-04-24 03:20:18 +0000 UTC@RiffTrax, you may not have seen my reply on Daniel Frank's post above so I'll ask again: You suggested to Daniel that he relink his account to show the upgraded Traxian achievement. How do I do that? My account page still shows me as a Founding Traxian with no obvious way to relink my account to get get the Super achievement.

On each tier there's a list of "benefits" you receive, like Discord roles, behind-the-scenes content, etc. One of those benefits for Founding Members was a "Founding Traxian status" benefit, which currently is only something we can see. But the nice thing is it allows us to segment all of our backers, based on who has that benefit. That lets us have a permanent record of all of our founding patrons for use later on, if need be.

What "benefit" are you referencing here?

2020-04-22 21:58:33 +0000 UTCYes, that is also true! We've added achievements to match the tier logos seen on our Patreon. New patrons can activate those on the site using the "Link Your Patreon Account" button mentioned above! And, for upgraded Founding Traxians, if you link your account again the new achievements will be added. We're working on some better integration with Patreon as well, but for now, simply linking again won't change anything other than adding your achievements to your account.
