Extended Preview: Velvet Smooth

Erik here, comin' at ya once again with some non-Kickstarter content: an Extended Preview for our newest riff, Velvet Smooth! I've just finished posting it to the RiffTrax site, and was described to me as "Death Promise meets Guy From Harlem with a female lead" - and if that doesn't sound amazing, then I'm afraid I can't help you.
From our writers' synopsis:
Who is Velvet Smooth? A no-nonsense 1970s blaxploitation heroine, or a new yogurt brand full of decadent dessert flavors? It’s the former, baby, so put down your spoons and get groovy!
Velvet Smooth is a detective in Harlem - unlike the detective in The Guy From Harlem, who lives in Miami. Here’s hoping the two of them will meet up in some future Avengers-type supergroup movie, maybe when The Guy returns to Harlem to pick up some of his old stuff from a storage unit.

Velvet Smooth You are the one So smooth and soft You’re not like sand Which, as everyone knows, is coarse and irritating (Velvet Smooth! Not like sand!) That’s why this guy I know Would like to meet you He’s a whiny jerk But he has super powers Like telekinesis with a bunch of other stuff thrown in (Velvet Smooth! Help me out!) He choked me with his brain To get me to ask you If you like guys who Occasionally kill lots of younglings He seriously said that; I’m scared for my life (Velvet Smooth! This guy is nuts!) So, Velvet Smooth What I’m trying to say Is please go out with this psycho And kick his a$$ I can pay you for your time, with dry-cleaner receipts (Velvet Smooth! Kick his a$$!)
