Talkin' DripTrax: Subspecies IV: The Awakening

Why hello there Traxians!

Peter here to take your Monday up a notch with another installment of Talkin' DripTrax! This time, the guys are discussing our latest release Subspecies IV: The Awakening AKA the fourth installment so nice, you won't even worry about movies one through three. If you're a fan of hokey special effects, community theater vampires, and lots of footage from other movies - then you're in for an absolute treat.

CONTENT WARNING: This video contains actual footage of Subspecies IV: The Awakening. Forgive us.

Funny, tho, when I could understand 'em!

Watching "Atom Age Vampire" was a lot like being bludgeoned into submission in an Australian nite spot's parking lot after 3:00AM. It went on way too long, the motives were unclear, and the accents were all but indecipherable. Seriously, those guys talk too much too fast! Missed most of the riffs.

Just wanted to say love the Patreon site & the Discord integration with the existing RiffTrax channel! Really looking forward to what you guys have in store for us in the future. Thanks!

I'm going to miss the DripTrax intro too...unless you come up with something better (meaning, of course, sillier), which I am sure you will. : )

Currently we don't have a way to download the videos yet, but we're working on a solution. (EDIT: added a link for this one in the bottom of the post. It's a bit of a "kludge" but hopefully will work for now.) We're also working on getting these videos added to your Library on the site, so that you can view them there. That's taking a bit more work, but we'll announce once it's ready.

How do you download these videos I hate watching them on my crappy little tablet. I enjoy watching on my TV.

Chris Sorge

Definitely not just you. And I'm assuming it's not just you and me!

Rob Graham

I'm pretty sure I heard that come up :)

Fingers crossed that the Romanian Emo Philips guy is *also* compared to Javier Bardem at some point in this riff. Because that's 100% who I see!

Rob Graham

Is it just me, or is there no full screen option? Or going forward or back?

Zerocool

Correction: RETRO PUPPET MASTER was actually directed by David DeCoteau, who also goes by the pseudonym of Mary Crawford on films such as...*gulp*...A TALKING CAT!? However, Ted Nicolau did direct at least one of the other PUPPET MASTERs.

Jesse Shade

I'm REALLY gonna miss the Driptrax intro :(
