Talkin' DripTrax #19: Freddie Steps Out (with Bridget and Mary Jo)

Hi, it’s Bridget with a quick note about Freddie Steps Out before I join Mary Jo for Happy Hour! (half price loaded potato skins and Grain Belt Premiums ain't gonna order themselves)

I sorta think this installment is not as well written as the first one (the movie, not the riffing). Kinda like they thought they could rest on their bobby socks from the relative success of Junior Prom. There is not nearly as much snappy hipster word play, and Tiny never really gets to do that weird thing with his forehead. Why have Tiny if he can't do that weird thing with his forehead?

Mary Jo and I are so torn over these “Teenager series” movies. This is the second one we've riffed, and we're not sure if we'll do the next two. We totally love seeing the musicians and the dancing but Lee really does drive us nuts. Also, we wish Dodie were the real star and not Freddie!

What do you in the DripTrax universe think? Riff two more, or just leave Freddie and his friends to live on in our memories?
