Good day, DripTraxians!
Today's release is The Dark, a movie that originally was your typical poorly-lit 1970s crime thriller, until some executive decided it needed a science fiction-y creature that shoots laser beams out of its eyes. It stars William Devane and radio's Casey Kasem (also known as the original voice of Shaggy in "Scooby Doo.")
And, as the title implies, much of the movie contains inky blackness, since many scenes were shot in the dark of actual night with nary a light source to be found. We even released our riff at midnight last night to properly honor The Dark's total commitment to darkness.
Please enjoy.
