Exclusive excerpt from Pole Vault Audiobook!

Hey everyone! Conor Lastowka here. Some of you may know that in between trying to come up with a 243rd original joke to say when the Coronet logo appears on screen, I've written a book or two. The most recent one, The Pole Vault Championship of the Entire Universe is out today as an Audible Original!

I keep using the term "Full Cast audiobook" to describe this as if that is a common term that most people know, but what it means is that as opposed to having one narrator read the book out loud, actors play each role, with the narrator, music, and sound effects tying it together. It's more like an audio movie. I have definitely spent enough time working on this book that I should be sick of it, and I still really enjoyed hearing the final product.

Who is on the final product? Well, there are some familiar names to RiffTrax fans and some exciting new ones! Mike, Kevin, and Bill all have major roles. Mike is the scheming grandfather Cornelius Everglades, who has conspired to host the Olympics on a country that isn't technically a country yet. Bill is the commander of an intergalactic StarBarge who believes he deserves more than picking up the galaxy's garbage. And Kevin plays its woefully incompetent yet cheerful navigator.

They're joined by Janet Varney, Paul F. Tompkins, Weird Al Yankovic, John DiMaggio (Futurama), Sasheer Zamata (SNL), Jackie Kashian, Dulce Sloan, and Eliza Skinner, who is just fantastic as the narrator.
